My 11 year old just purchased a guitar and accidentally popped a string! She was devastated. I put a filler out on a local social media page asking where I could get it repaired. Within minutes, the owner reached out and told me he could help and even arranged a time that worked for us both the following morning! He was very professional and very nice, the genuine kind of helpful/caring person! What an amazing gem this music shop has brought to Hammond and in the perfect area nearby SELU. We hope to get lessons from them soon. A+ 5/5 star review from our family! It was fun just hanging out while he repaired the string and really brought joy to my day. The older I get, the more I like to have certain trusted "go to people" for the things that come up in life. I have a certain home maintenance repair person I use for appliances, I have a "guy" who can fix my lawn mower when it needs serving, etc. So happy to have found this music ship and owner for our musical instrument needs!! Hands down best music store in the entirety of Hammond! Being someone in college still learning his way up the guitar, this was a miracle. I don’t have to drive all the way to Baton Rouge anymore if I want to try some guitars. Their selection of guitars were phenomenal. Not to mention their graphic tee shirts were awesome. This is an amazing place that I will be visiting time...
