Bar-B-Que Station #2 Hammond — Restaurant in Hammond

I don't normally give reviews of a place unless I have at least one positive thing to say , but this place has horrible food , my wife loves BBQ ribs , I ordered the rib plate , she took one bite and gave the rest to the dog , I've never seen her do that , how do you mess up BBQ ribs ? They found a way , my grandson love the cheese sticks , he is a little over two yrs old so he is not influenced by what we say , he only knows what he likes , he took one bite of the cheese sticks and wouldn't touch another , I had the BBQ pork sandwich with fries , I took one bite and couldn't force myself to take another , I haven't eaten all day so I managed to eat about three maybe four french fries , but couldn't stomach any more , I'd like to give a suggestion or two in order to help local small business men , but honestly , they just need to change everything about the way they cook the food , the girl at the register was nice , I expressed how I have order cheese sticks before got home and had no marinara sauce , she assured me it was in the bag but offered me an addition cup of sauce , I accepted and thanked her , guess what , there was no red sauce in the bag LoL, I have no idea how this place got four stars from anyone except maybe friends and family , who I'm sure will never go back there even for free , I certainly know...

Co-workers had been raving about this place, so another co-worker and I looked forward to trying it recently. She got a grilled chicken wrap, and I got the smoked or bbq chicken. When we got our food - she showed me the wrap - it hardly had any chicken in it and was mostly lettuce, etc. She got the cabbage for her side. She asked me to taste it. We were fine with the texture, but had way too much garlic, and we love garlic. Not good. My chicken which I thought was supposed to be half a chicken was more like a pigeon. I thought I would have food leftover for dinner, it was so small I finished it and had to get food later that afternoon. Additionally, they only have Pepsi products, and I drink diet drinks, but hate Diet Pepsi. So when I went to fill my cup I decided to get unsweetened iced tea instead. They not only didn't have Splenda, but had nothing but sugar packets. Asked the girl at the counter and she said that's all we have. And my friend got water, (not a bottle of water), a cup of water with ice- they charged her 35 cents. Have eaten out for many years and never known anyplace to do that. We will probably give it another try, and order differently, but not any time soon. Very disappointing all...

Had the wings. Had had this dish multiple times. They were over cooked like jerky. Notified the establishment, revived an apology and was told to come back , call I. The order for the wings. Called on another day was told they were out of wings. Called about two weeks, was told I waited two hours before calling back about the wings on an order from two weeks ago, which was the first negative, our drive home is about 15-20 minutes, then was told I needed to bring them back, was not told this initially could have easily been done, at time of the occurrence, them was asked if I had a receipt from two weeks ago.

Staff attempt to contact Tommy, no respond, contacted another GM, was told all wings are processed the same. I told the I have been getting the wings since they went from drumettes to w hole wings. And these were like jerky, definitely not the same cook.

The staff need to be I serviced on return or complaints, to save uneatable food, to keep receipts no matter the time frame, and document the time you pick up food to the time you eat.
