FANTASTIC! I brought my original xbox in for repair and sadly it needed a part that's no longer sold. In exchange, they gave me a big discount on a refurbished one for my old one (originaly $150, sold to me for $75). I was expecting them to charge me for the attempted repair, but they didn't. It seems that If it doesn't get fixed, the only charge you're given is the initial $20 for it to be looked at. Additionally, I bought a copy of Halo and a controller, and they generously gave me a free game I hadn't played before. When I got home, I popped in Halo but got an error message saying the disc couldn't be read (same error I had with my previous xbox..). Turned out the Halo disc wasn't readable, so I brought it back in and they exchanged it out for a new disc. Unexpectedly, they gave me an Xbox DVD adapter and remote (for the inconvenience). Was not expecting that. A faulty disc isn't a big deal to me so I wasn't expecting any type of compensation, but they obviously run their business with good values and will compensate you even if you don't ask for it. I'm very appreciative for this store's care! Cool, honest people with a genuine love for the video game world. This is the type of business I would go out of my way to stop in and buy something, even something little, just to support them....
Read moreA pretty nice game store, right on the main street of Hammonton, walking distance from the nearby train station. They have a large selection of 6th and 7th generation games, with an Xbox 360 display with about 2/3rds of my want list and they do a pretty good job of keeping their stock clean and in good order. They also have a good few consoles for sale but there wasn't all too much impressive in terms of imports unfortunately. My biggest gripe is the prices. I understand charging $15 for a $12 game, you got to keep the lights on of course. But at the same time, I paid $14 for a $7 game. Now they do have a buy 3 get 1 free deal on all the games out on open shelves so you can make the prices work in the right circumstance. I just wish some of these games weren't marked up to like... 80% above market value to compensate for this. Either way I'm still probably going to come back here just for the...
Read moreLove this place! First time customer. I was looking for a game that is 18 years old and I called all over New Jersey looking for the game I wanted but nobody had it except Jersey Video Games.
The lady I spoke with was very kind and let me pay thru text (payment link). They really seem to value their customers and the lady I spoke with went above and beyond to make sure I got what I wanted. I was originally going to get only one game but because of her phenomenal customer service skills, I purchased 2 more.
I wish they had a location in Bergen County because most of the GameStops around here don't go above and beyond for the customer like this business did.
A+++++++++++++ business. If I could give ten...
