It's more welcoming to play in the parking lot outside than to deal with the people "working" here. It's like joining in on a f2p shovelware gacha mobile game; they don't want you and you won't have fun unless you're shoveling money into it or you're already an established player with friends that go here, they'll literally scold you for going to your local game store to play games even if you're buying things, they only focus on the store part, and don't care about the locals or the games. You'll note that the word "friendly" is absent in almost this entire review.

But I'm glad to see that whatsthierproblem is leaving condescending remarks on random reviews on here, IDK what sort of dissociative identity disorder they've got going on that makes it so that they're randomly cool enough to customers that they actually leave positive reviews, it's like seeing other people win the lottery. I don't know why as someone in the customer service industry you're like this, on a personal level. You obviously only want to come into work and see the people you like to see and don't want to interact with the general public, and it's really a shame that although we lost many national treasures, COVID failed to catch either the store manager here nor the store itself, maybe it would open up the opportunity for an actual FLGS in the area. Just tried to buy a game that is relatively old. Asked the bearded guy at the counter if he could open it so I could validate if the game was in good condition. He threw his arms up and acted like I was so out of line for asking to see the condition of a $30 item that is 15 years old. He cut the scotch tape that was keeping the game closed and said “I’ll do it just this once for free, but don’t expect to come in here and have me do this ever again”. Why would someone buy from you when you are moaning and groaning and whining over asking you something completely reasonable? I totally would have bought the item too. I like this place. It’s clean it set up well and has everything you need to play MTG or Pokémon TCG. I’ve recently got into MTG and have had questions on products and if they had some products in stock. I’m not sure if they are annoyed because I’m a newbie with a lot of questions but I felt that 2 of the people who work here were rude in how they answered my questions. I get it I’m new I don’t know everything but don’t push me away because I’m not on your level. There was one guy here who was super nice and helpful. I will continue to go back to this place only mainly because there’s no where close that sells singles like they do but if they keep being rude I’ll go back to online...
