My son called I-repair and asked about having his phone repaired. They told him that they would need $180 deposit to do the work. He made the payment over the phone. My son had to leave to meet his family up north. He mailed the phone to me on 11/01/2021 and asked me if I could take it to I-repair when it came. The phone arrived on 11/03/2021 and I drove it to I-repair, (an hour away) the next day. The repair person said it would be ready in an hour. An hour later I returned to pick up the phone, and was told that the wrong part had been ordered and he would have to reorder it. I asked how long that would take and he told me about a week. I left my contact information and my sonās contact info as well. I never received a call back. On 11/12/2021 I drove up to where my son was. He asked if I brought his phone but I had to tell him I never got a call back. My son called them and was told that the part hadnāt arrived. Still, no call from them. My son called them again around 11/15/2021 and was again told that the part hadnāt arrived. The following day my son called again and was told that they would be ordering the part that day. š„ŗ Finally, on 11/17/2021 they called and said the phone was done. I told them that my husband would be coming up here and would pick it up on Friday. My husband got off of work, got changed, threw his suitcase in the truck and headed the hour to Hanford. He called us to let us know that he had got stuck behind slow traffic, was almost there, and could we call and ask if they would wait just a few extra minutes. Finally, after a discussion, she agreed to wait 10 minutes and no longer. 5 minutes later, my husband arrived and the place was dark and locked up; another lie. My sonās business is connected to his phone, and now it will take a 4 hour drive one way to pick it up; also another $185. A little honesty would go...

The store - Wow! Honestly, I was a bit skeptical going inside because of the last experience I had there. What a difference! Literally, it was like night and day. The last time I was in that store, it was dark and dreary, totally disorganized, there was nowhere to sitāor standāand the service was reluctant and overpriced. Today, I was blown away when I walked in. The store is completely differentābright, clean, inviting, well-lit and organized with seating and water available, a board with business cards from local merchants, a TV to help pass the time if you had to be there for half an hour, and an assortment of tech accessories to browse while you wait.
The staff - iRepair is very well-staffed. I felt bad walking in less than 30 minutes before closing, but the staff was more than willing to help me even though it meant staying a few minutes late. The two gentlemen who helped me were professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Friendly techiesāwho knew?!
