Hola Cafecito — Restaurant in Hanford

I just want to speak up in defense of my friends who own Hola Cafecito. I know them personally, and I know their hearts. They’re immigrants who’ve always shown up for the community — donating, supporting local causes, creating a safe and welcoming space for everyone. The recent event they hosted wasn’t about supporting ICE or any harmful policies — it was about starting conversations and building understanding in the community. If you actually took the time to get to know them, you’d realize how far from that narrative they really are. It’s really frustrating to see people posting negative reviews based on assumptions, without knowing the full story or the people behind the business. Went here on a Monday afternoon during lunch. Place was busy (President's Day), and parking a little hard to find.

Place was pretty popping during lunch. I saw their online menu and the TBA Bagel and their countless hot drinks enticed me to go. I was greeted when I entered. The people there were helpful.on recommending me a drink. I ordered a TBA Everything bagel and a large Oaxacan Mocha. The TBA bagel was very tasty, but at $11 the bagel size was kind of small. The Oaxacan Mocha was very good! Chocolate-y, sweet and creamy. Definitely a soothing drink.

Overall, the vibes were very cool. The customer service was good. There's ample seating, but it was packed when I went. Not a bad thing! They don't have much options for food, but they have a lot of hot drink options that I would definitely come...

Looking for a coffee spot better than Starbucks?This spot is it! I took a chance, and I loved it. I quickly found street parking, walked right in, I was able to tell the flow of traffic was heavy but organized. Once it was my turn I changed my mind from a Vanilla Latte(missing Starbucks) to a Cafe de Olla iced with Vanilla Syrup per the gal behind the register recommendation. I normally do Cafe de Olla hot, but Iced is even better! The corner of my eye peeped an ELOTE Muffin in the bread selection , which wasn’t on the menu. She offered to warm it up, and must I say it’s so gooooodddd. Seating was available even with lots of traffic, they have merch available, tables outside, helpful employees. Definitely worth the money.
