I had an appointment set up for a quick trim. I had to bring my child with me, since i don't have friend's or family around me to help watch her. Well...she was getting fussy and crying a bit, some girls were helpful and the one's behind the counter (the big black eyebrows) were just giving dirty looks and seemed annoyed. So Jenny tells me to leave because someone needs to watch my kid and because she was crying. (Mind you she was in a stroller so she was not running all over) NOT EVERYONE HAS THAT OPTION. I'm sure it wasn't because of her sake but for the sake of those giving dirty looks and being annoyed. Well Jenny... you got what you wanted. I won't be going back again. Instead of asking me to leave you could have tried to accommodate for my daughter and I. Instead you lost out money, and took money away from one of your student's ( which she was the.sweetest one there) and lost a customer for good. And know that word of mouth spreads quick and be sure that i will also be posting this on other websites and also be telling friends and family on how you made my daughter and I feel. It's not a good feeling to tell someone to leave on a.count of your child. You are an establishment like any other... And other places DO NOT tell ppl to leave on a count of a fussy child. Im currently living in LA and let me tell you, the schools here do not compare to this school ! I get asked all the time where did I attend school and I proudly like to tell them LCCC ! All the instructors are really hands on and actually care about your progress. Even years later you still feel part of the community. Always feel very much welcomed !!! I attended during COVID so even with the lockdown and restrictions we had the school went far and beyond to make sure everyone still had hands on experience as sanitary as possible. whether it be on our dolls or paper. You could really see the heart they put into it. Even to this day there are some habits i find myself still doing from my time there. Ms Wolfe always made sure everyone knew of the grants available to them. As someone who came from a lower income background who literally paid nothing Always eternally grateful to her ! I was a student at Lawrence and Company throughout the pandemic & I can honestly say the school and staff are amazing! The staff provide me as a student the best hands on also one on one experience that was possible! Mrs. Lawrence the owner and Mrs Barley the director are very sweet & want students to succeed. This school definitely teaches responsibility and that’s one thing I appreciate to this day. I keep up with the school to this day on social media & I see that the school continues to grow day by day holding lots workshops so that students can grow and be taught by the best around. I definitely advise those that are interested in makeup, skincare, nails or just hair to aim for the top & take there cosmetology corse like I did so that they can have a number or services to provide instead of just one because what if that once service doesn’t suit you anymore??
