Sierra Liquor — Local services in Hanford

Good morning, it's been a very long time since I've visited family here in hanford it's home and I'll always come back it's been awhile that I've visited , actually where sierra liquor sits I remember as far back as 1968 a fruit stand was there ran by wild bill's produced stand we used to live right next door the year 1968 I was 5 and I remember like it was yesterday and the ol popshoppe was right next door ,anyway enough of that back to sierra liquor it's changed over the years it's ok a little cleaning wouldn't hurt it but about four years ago they opened up a carneceria tacos burritos fresh meat the food to go is very tasty today was my first time trying it delicious 😋 the best thing happening...

Came here to try the food from the carnicería and only one customer here before me and it took a long time to finally receive my order. Both ladies the one in the carnicería and the liquor store were very nice but the food wasn’t great. It was ok but not good enough for me to want to come back again. The menudo lacked flavor. The broth was watery like it was frozen or maybe they didn’t use enough spices. The corn to meat ratio was good. The carnitas were on the overcooked side, dry. The tortillas also didn’t look appealing to me, we did not eat them. We did eat the food it was ok but not great in our opinion. The food was pricey...

This place has a REALLY good Mexican food cantina in the back of the store, with several tables and chairs to sit and eat, or takeout if you prefer. Everything on the menu is as good or better than most Mexican restaurants in town (some notable exceptions). You taste a homemade quality to everything they make, and the refried beans are just the way I like them. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Do yourself a favor and stop by to give it a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. ...
