Both ladies the one in the carnicerĂa and the liquor store were very nice but the food wasnât great. It was ok but not good enough for me to want to come back again. The menudo lacked flavor. The broth was watery like it was frozen or maybe they didnât use enough spices. The corn to meat ratio was good. The carnitas were on the overcooked side, dry. Everything on the menu is as good or better than most Mexican restaurants in town (some notable exceptions). You taste a homemade quality to everything they make, and the refried beans are just the way I like them. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Do yourself a favor and stop by to give it a try.
