Rose Fashion Design Alteration, Tailoring — Local services in Hanover Township

IF I COULD GIVE ROSE 1000 STARS I WOULD. When I tell you she was a literal life saver, I am not exaggerating. TLDR; she was able to alter my bridesmaid dress that was both too long in length and too small in size (it was 1-2 sizes too small for me so it couldn’t zip) THE SAME DAY.

For background, I had an originally ordered my bridesmaid dress months prior to the wedding, and it was slightly too small, so I returned it and was going to order a size up. I had to wait for the return to credit back to my account, so I thought “okay I’ll order it in a few days.” Well, a few days turned into a few weeks, which turned into over a month. Time crept on me so quick, but I thought “it’s okay, I’ll just make sure I get expedited shipping, it’ll arrive on time.” Except I didn’t realize that the shipping wasn’t the issue, it was the production so it wouldn’t arrive until a week after the wedding. Panic ensued, of course, so I ended up rebuying the dress I had previously returned—the one that was 1-2 sizes too small. Luckily it arrived…TWO DAYS BEFORE THE WEDDING. Not just that though, but the wedding was out of state & I had to be there for the rehearsal dinner the night before.

So, long story short: I received my dress in the mail Thursday morning around 10. It was not only too long, but it was too small, to the point that I couldn’t even zip it up all the way, so I had a 3 inch gap in the back (yikes). Problem was that I had to leave for the wedding THAT SAME NIGHT. I almost had a breakdown because I knew there was no way anyone would be able to alter that dress with that many issues so last minute. UNTIL I found Rose’s business. I gave her a call explaining the situation and she was happily willing to help. I arrived there by 12 and I kid you not…she was able to work some sorcery with the bodice to make it fit and also hem the length IN LESS THAN 2 HOURS👏👏👏 Not to mention, the prices were more than fair. On top of that, she was the sweetest, most understanding individual you could ever meet. Now I know, if I ever need alterations done again in the future, I’ll make sure to go to Rose (with ample notice next time lol).

Thank you again so much Rose for lifting 1,000 pounds off my shoulders. You have no idea how much stress and anxiety...

ROSE IS AMAZING!! I bought a beautiful wedding dress from Essence of Australia. It has delicate lace and hand beading. I waited 5 months for it to arrive and while it fit me around the hips and gave me a beautiful shape the top was too large and hung off of my chest. I originally took it to a tailor in California near where I was living . This tailor as rated 5 stars with over 200 reviews so I felt confident. When I went for my fitting it was unevenly cinched and it looked pretty bad. The hourglass shape the dress gave me was lost and the top was still loose. It looked like a beaded potato sack. I was very distressed and the tailor angrily agreed to remove all the stitching she placed. So I arrived on Rose’s doorstep, 1 week before leaving for my Italy destination wedding feeling apprehensive and anxious. I didn’t think much could be done given the timeframe and the intricate hand beading on the gown. The previous tailor had told my I should “go to the gym” if I wanted my dress to fit me better. Rose, firstly is a lovely woman. Kind, warm and welcoming. Don’t be discouraged when you drive up to a house in a residential area as the business address. Just call her and she will open the door! She is a professional working from home. She has a shop in her basement that is clean and well equipped. I first brought her a puffy frilled skirt to be taken in and shortened. The material was sheer tulle which can be difficult to work I imagine. After meeting her a recognizing her skill I brought her my wedding dress as well. I left to get it and returned less than hour later and she had already taken in my skirt to fit me beautifully. WOW!!!!

We also asked her to shorten my mothers jumpsuit. She had all three garments PERFECTLY done in just a few days! My dresses were absolutely, absolutely perfect for my wedding. Her speed, precision, and kindness SAVED this highly stressed and stick thin bride. The both dresses and the jumpsuit draped perfectly over our shoes, fit our bodies and we weren’t tripping over the hems. You can’t even tell it’s been altered. It just looks custom made. I can’t thank you...

Rose fashion design is very creative and talented. I have experienced there work before, when I ordered a dress for homecoming, it was really beautiful and very neat well done work. I really liked the way the dress was sewed and the design of the dress was something unique that I never seen at any store or any places before. Everything was well made with patience and creativity. She’s very talented and has really unique ideas of designs at fashion. I’m looking forward to order more dresses from Rose Fashion Design.
