CoCo's Bridal Boutique — Local services in Hanover

Coco’s ruined the entire experience of wedding dress shopping for me. I was warned by several people that the customer service here wasn’t great, but I needed an appointment on a specific day so I decided to give them a shot. Some of my most important family members live out of town, but they were all going to be in the area for a brief period of time. I called Coco’s and explained the situation and was able to schedule an appointment that worked for everyone. I scheduled an appointment for a Sunday but as the conversation was ending she said “Great! See you Wednesday!” I clarified with her that I said I needed it for Sunday and she said “oh that’s right! No problem. See you Sunday.” My family and I showed up about 15 minutes early for our 11:30 appointment to locked doors. We finally left after standing outside in the cold for 45 minutes, trying to call her 5 times, and leaving 2 voice mails. It’s been 3 days and I haven’t even received a call back. Because of the lack of professionalism and awful customer service, I won’t be able to experience wedding dress shopping with my mom. I would highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.

Update: it’s been almost a month and we never heard back from Jenna despite leaving multiple voicemails and emails. Someone close to me called the store yesterday (an observed holiday) to see if they are even still in business. There was no answer and she didn’t leave a voicemail but Jenna called her back immediately and left a message saying “Hi this is Coco’s returning your call,” which just affirms that she did in fact get all our missed calls and 100% knew about the situation and chose to ignore it. This has been by far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I wouldn’t give this business a dime.

CoCo's is just off the square - by the PNC. We went to CoCo's with no plans to buy a dress and no appointement. I fell in love with the first dress I pulled off the rack and CoCo made me feel important and valued as a bride despite being walk-ins. She also did an amazing job ensuring the gorgeous bride with an appointment was not neglected despite my surprise arrival. CoCo made me feel like a bride for the first time - I've looked in 3 states and 2 countries. I can't wait to continue working with her through this process - she put all my nerves at ease. I've noticed several bad reviews lately and I feel like it's important to state I firmly believe these people are leaving out important plot points - CoCo is honest but NOT careless or rude. Choosing Coco was the best decision I could have possibly made for finding my wedding dress. She knows what she’s doing, and she will make sure you get the best dress for YOU. She never rushes you out of an appointment, and welcomes you With a smile every time. She asked me what I was looking for in a dress, and I told her that, given my body shape, I just don’t want a strapless dress or a ball gown. She brought a few of dresses she thought would be best for me, and insisted I try on this strapless ball gown. I trusted her enough to try it on, and immediately knew it was the one.
