Dollar General — Local services in Harrisburg

I have been to other Dollar Generals in the past. I have to admit only a few. Never been a big fan. There is always confusion and a lot of items are either thrown together in a box or scattered around on a shelf. I know YouTube there is several couponers that swear by the savings there with the digital coupons that you can get from downloading the DG app. I've been thinking about trying it out one more time with a scenario with all digital coupons and they have on Saturdays only a additional $5 off $25. So I'm going to follow a youtubers breakdown for all gain products and see if in fact it works for me and if it going to save my patients and a headache, saves me money and time because I will already have that list before going in. Their point of sale computer system is the absolute worst. Before you can use whatever card it is that you want to use you have to tell them first so they can hit a special button there is no other place that I shop where I have to tell him whether I'm using my debit card my credit card my American Express or whatever card I may be using every place I shop you put the card in the machine you swipe it or you put the chip in and it works you don't have to signify or tell them specifically what card you're using all cards should be used the same it is actually discrimination to make someone choose or say what kind of card they are using. For the most part, it's a decent little store. Usually clean, well stocked in a few areas, low stock in most areas that are well shopped. It's a handy store for picking up some items in a pinch. I feel that they could do with more stock of the well shopped items when their shipments come in. I like the store & am so happy they came to our little speck on the map, Harrisburg.
