Usually everything about this place is great. The food especially. Most of the time, the service is wonderful too, especially when we have the male waiter, (I think his name is Isaiah? Or Elijah? Im so sorry I'm not 100% sure ) But he really is THE best!! Anyway, we had the older Latina waitress today, she was fine. She told us she had to leave for a bit to get her grandchild. While she was gone, I was waiting for a to go order too and to pay the bill. The younger Latina lady was very put out about helping us, cuz obviously, we weren't her original table and she wasn't gonna be getting our tip. I had to ask to make sure my order was getting done, she had no clue. She wasn't interested in helping us out at all. I had my card out ready to pay the bill & she told me she'd be back to get it. Nope! She helped several other tables (that I'm sure were her tables) & was even cashing someone out at the register. I walked up to the register, after at least waiting 10 minutes and told her she never came back. She told me she was busy. Ohhh yes. With customers that were at your tables, I'm sure!! How rude!! I hope to never have her as a waitress again. In the past she was good, but apparently, she's only cordial to HER customers at HER tables! Watch out for her crappy service unless you're in...
Read more12-14-24 So, I've ordered dinners to go twice in the last month. If you're a chicken lover, you're in luck because the Chicken Strip Basket is everything you could hope for: lots of juicy deep fried chicken fillets and batter dipped fries (if that's what you choose) and a tiny tablespoon of coleslaw. If you like fish & shrimp, like I do, don't get too excited. I got three tiny pieces of fried fish last time and 5 butterflied shrimp this time. Both good, but not worth $16. I even ordered a side of coleslaw, because it's so good, and only got half a cup. So disappointing! The reason for the 3 star rating is because of the overpriced miniscule seafood portions and the underwhelming breakfast we had the last time we ate there. Really 99, when it comes to breakfast, you don't compare to your sister restaurant, Buddy's on Coburg Rd. You can...
Read moreYesterday, my husband and I stopped in at this place in Harrisburg. I will say the service alone is a reason to come back for. The girls were friendly, but not pushy, after we got our meal they checked on us and i never had to worry about my coffee cup going empty. Even when another customer came in, they knew them by name and it reminded me when folks took the time to even get your first name... One of waitresses even suggest to try her new Ice coffee which i did and as the weather starts to heat up, I would say go for it. As for food, it was well presented... and was just enough that both my husband and I left full but not to the point of rolling us out. lol... finally if you can't stop for a meal.... then at least stop in for a appetizer and coffee... and check out all the things on...
