Grocery Deals — Local services in Harrisburg

Over the last few years, I have visited this location from time to time regularly experiencing expired merchandise other than their fresh produce and non perishable food items.

Up for a challenge? Other than their fresh produce, household items, hygiene etc you'll notice all dates to be expired. Sometimes by months months on end, basically expired over a year if not more! If you've noticed yourself feeling sick. This could be the source, yikes!

As a foot note, I get the feeling that while looking through the pictures posted on this site, I've come to the conclusion that the women in the middle wearing a red Tshirt is in someway afflicted with ownership. She's rung me up 2-3x's over the yeats. She's not rude, but very unfriendly. Almost to the point of appearing rude. She looks down refusing to make eye contact and not so much as saying hi.

I've heard that she/ they do not like anything...

UPDATE: 12/2024 FOOD POISONING from the Hamburger, country sausage is brown & smells bad, opened the pork roast I bought and same thing, smelly & brown. All bought at same time. Slim Jim cracked like glass, my dog couldn't eat it! I'm on a fixed income and was hoping to save money. I haven't had much to eat this week thanks to my poor judgement in believing Heidi the owner. Meat over a year old is NOT good. Time to overhaul your supply of perishable foods.

EXPIRED FOOD! BEWARE!! Employees are aware and the owner, Heidi Miller, is making a profit from it. Its sad this charming small town doesn't have an Honest market. As a 1st time shopper drawn in by the Fresh Produce sign, I was Very disappointed.

Now this place is a true discount store.! Not every thing is a good deal, but decent enough throughout the store. Most items are outdated, and should probably be priced a little more accordingly. But no problem finding plenty of deals all around. The gals working yesterday were super friendly and helpful, even pointing out a better deal on a similar item that I was purchasing.
