Gridiron Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Harrisburg

Portions are, without a doubt, 'southern style'... bring your appetite. Prime rib, cooked on a smoker, would be a challenge to improve on. (It's Friday) The clam chowder is creamy and did not disappoint us as it has from innumerable dining establishments. I ordered a Philly dip and the steak was smoked! Yum! Stupidly, I wanted a full order of onion rings... I got a full dozen HUGE battered rings. Unfortunately, I could only eat about five of them in one setting. Needless to say, they were done to perfection. As another poster commented, the service was great, I only wish there were more people sitting at the tables enjoying the food, but, apparently, not enough people are talking about this place. For all that embraced and longed for the place like Cheers where everyone knows your name, and you know who the "regulars" are. This is the place!! The food is amazing and the service.. well let's just say it's not the service you would get at a fancy french restaurant! It's what you would expect if you went to a place where they personally care about you, quirky they may be, but wouldn't give up that kind of atmosphere for anything!! So if you want a sterile professional atmosphere go somewhere else and leave our little place to those that know what's important,...

First, I want to say the food was delicious. I had the ribeye special and it was amazing. But I was disappointed with the servers and the setup. I ordered to go and came in to pick it up and no one really acknowledge for a good 2 minutes. Then two of the servers behind the bar were not wearing masks and there was a cluster of like 8 people at the bar all super close together no one wearing masks.

I know the COVID restrictions are hard especially on restaurants but I would appreciate seeing my local businesses do their best to...
