Took my 2023 Volkswagen Jetta with 2900miles here being under warranty. On Saturday when driving my car all the dash lights came on. Showing error on airbags, error on front assist and 3000rpm rev limit so I limp it home. Sunday I went out and tried to see what's wrong so I turned it on and lights were still on. So I tried disconnecting the battery on the negative side only remember that. It didn't change anything. so Monday I call the dealership and they said that I could bring it in they might be able to get to it. I dropped the car off and told them what was happening and what I tried. About 1130 I got a call explaining to me I caused the issue first they said because I put a cb in the center console that it shorted the computer. But I told them it was plugged into the cigarette outlet and it's been there since I bought it.so then they told me it was because I unhooked the battery.but I told them the issue was before I unhooked the battery but they still tried by showing me a mark on the computer which they said wiped the abs module which obviously was not a short cause there was no burn mark and again never removed the positive side. So they had no answer for why it went nuts and then tried to blame me because of removing the battery cable to see if it would reset. And because I removed it the warranty wouldn't cover the recoding of the module. Which I think that's crap the only I guess nice thing they only charged me for 60 instead of 150 and 1hour of labor so the total was 180. They did tell me if it happens again I get my money back. But still I shouldn't have to pay for that. Also if you are planning on buying I'd think again warranty is crap and say you want to change your battery you can't they said it has to be done by them. Hopefully the problem happens again so I can get my money back. Also put a picture of the computer with the marks they...
Read moreMy husband and I both drive VWs and have brought our vehicles here for service numerous times over the last few years. Sadly we have been disappointed one way or another each time. Here are my experiences with my 2019 Atlas within the last year. January 2021 I took my vehicle in for inspection and and oil change. A few weeks later I received a note that it was time for my 50K service, though I was annoyed that no one said anything just a few weeks earlier I scheduled the appointment online. When I went to drop the vehicle off they asked why I was there and I explained 50k service. After digging around they explained the 50k service is just an oil change. Seriously, someone couldn't have looked at that ahead of time? They they asked if I had 40k service done, I explained I wasn't sure that we only bring the vehicle to Sutliff for service and after more waiting they determined it had not been done. I authorized them to complete the 40k service and said I'd pick it up after hours. Later that evening we went to pick it up and realized my husband was not sent a code for after hours pick up. They failed to set the vehicle up for after hours pick up. We had to go back home and drive the 25 miles back the next morning. Fast forward to September. I scheduled an oil change online for the first available time and noted I would be waiting and wait I did! Almost 90 minutes. I was told tires and brakes looked good unfortunately that was not correct. I needed new tires and today found out my brake pads were worn down so much they destroyed my rotors. Be aware of the shoddy service department and take your vehicle elsewhere. Sales side was great, service...
Read moreI’m really disappointed that I can’t give a good review like the others ones on here. My experience was weird and awkward. I responded via internet In a car that I was interested in. The sales manager messaged back promptly and we set up a time to look at the car. Then I got emails from a Alison that she would be working with me and to ask for her when I arrived. Upon arrival I was informed that Alison was the internet sales agent and didn’t even work in the dealership. I would be working with Aaron. Aaron didn’t even know what car I was looking at and then handed me over to Lynn to go over the car. Before going out to look at the car Aaron asked me how I wanted to finance the car. I hadn’t even layed eyes on it yet. I told him we could talk about it when I get back from the test drive. Weird, I hadn’t even layer eyes on the car and he wanted to know how I was going to pay for it? Lynn didn’t know a lot about the car and we stood in awkward silence at first until I started asking questions. He answered my question vaguely. When I got back I had to wait for Aaron to come back into the dealership. He immediately went into pricing and financing. I told I felt the car was priced high for the mileage on it. Asked to come down. He went and “checked with his manager”, didn’t budge any on the price and gave weak answers to why it was priced accurately. I walked out. I felt like I got the run around from the get go and then the sales men had no ideal what he was doing. It’s was weird. I guess if your willing Deal with 8 people, pay full price and commit to the sale Before looking at the car this is your dealership? WEIRD!...
