My husband purchased a suit here for our daughter’s wedding, and the experience was absolutely seamless. We were originally referred by my son-in-law, who brought his groomsmen to Shevs for their tuxedos, and I now see why he was so impressed.

I was a guest performing with Hartford Symphony and with the goings on of daily life and travel, I neglected to have my personal Tux Tails shipped from Brazil.

Shev was kind enough to provide me with a new set of Tails for the upcoming performance with HSO. I’m a tall/slim gent (32”W, 34”L), and shoulder/sleeve dimensions that are wider/longer than what would be in stock with any retailer; Shev provided the blueprint and had the materials tailored within one day, just in time for the performance.

I’ll keep this tux in the States for any upcoming performances which require this specific code of decorum.

For anyone looking for a Tux; DO NOT RENT! Invest the additional few quid to have your own, tailored to fit your every move.

Love this place. Shev focuses on making you happy so you come back, more than making a quick sale. He never pushes something you don’t want, but gives you options when you express what you like. The clothes are colorful and fun. Each time I’ve come, he’s given me personal attention. I got an amazing pair of purple loafers here that I constantly get compliments on. Right now, he’s stitching a vest I just bought so I can wear it to an event tonight. Hand stitching! The guy knows his stuff. You’d never get that personal attention at a department store.
