Olive's Pastry (Pies & Tarts) — Local services in Hauser

I can't say anything about the pies, I tried to order/ get a pie for my birthday last year, to find I needed to pre-order, apparently and I only was out on one of my days off Tue.

I'm back in the area this year and checked on the dates and times Wed, which is the day I go out to run errands was suppose to be 2pm till 5pm ? So I didn't bother to check when I made the trip out today, only to find after parking and trying g to get the door open they are ONLY OPEN ON SUN LATE AFTETNOON FOR ONE HOUR. I've " tried " three times, the second, I guess the only person qualified to bake had ER surgery weeks ago, so I guess I'm just not suppose to get any pies/pastries !

This is response to the reply from the owner, I did look at your website, I did not see anything that stated you had a death in the family otherwise I probably would NOT have written a review at all and just not bothered to try any more. I’m not sure how just stating that I’d made several attempts to purchase someone from a local business and was unable to is hurtful and nasty when YOU didn’t leave info on your website as to why you weren’t open. We're visiting from out of state and are going to dinner at some friends house tonight. I wanted to take a special dessert so I googled bakeries. The Pie Barn came up and looked like the perfect choice. It didn't open until 2:00 it was about 20 miles in the opposite direction but we had time to kill so that's where we went. I was so excited and we had gone so far out of our way only to get there and she didn't have anything but mini pies and we had 8 people to feed 😕....Sooooo disappointing...we left empty handed and needing to come up with another idea. Lesson learned...call...

Good Gracious Sakes Alive!!! A Mind Blowing pie experience. My family history includes a long line of bakers dating back to the early 1900’s. Needless to say, we tend to be VERY analytical and opinionated about the quality of pies and baked goods we encounter. This is UNQUESTIONABLY the BEST crust I have EVER enjoyed!! MAGIC- absolute perfection! Cannot wait to explore this place in a lot more depth. So glad my mother told...
