I have been a client of Larry Fadenâs for close to a decade. I live in New York City, but I am from the Havertown area. Though I am sure there are skilled jewelers in the city, I go out of my way to bring my jewelry requests and work to Larry, and I will travel to the area specifically to work with him. Aside from just being an all-around great person, Larry is a gifted craftsman who is very thoughtful about jewelry design and structure to ensure that pieces will not only withstand the test of time and wear, but also shine with beauty for the life of the piece. I have partnered with Larry on several custom pieces â he was an excellent listener and advisor when I described my vision for the pieces, and he brought them to life. Aside from quality craftsmanship, the most important thing about working with a jeweler is the ability to have complete trust, not only in their ability to turn out a beautiful final product, but to handle heirlooms, sentimental pieces, and other valuables with care and integrity â in Larry, I have that full trust. From something as simple as changing a watch battery, to adjusting fit and style on pieces, to the exciting challenge of creating a breathtaking heirloom piece from scratch: You cannot go wrong with Fadenâs.

Read moreMy fiancĂ©e and I brought her engagement ring (purchased from a big box jewelry store that rhymes with K) to Larry after a stone had fallen out and the big box re-set it crooked. Instead of taking advantage and charging us an arm and a leg to make the repair himself, he recommended that we go to back the initial store and demand that they honor the purchase and fix it properly. Honestly I have no desire to deal with that K-store again and told Larry that I appreciated his advice but that I wanted him to personally make the repairs because I respected his honesty and I trust that Iâll be thrilled with the result. Iâm pleased to say that my fiancĂ©e and I have both now purchased our wedding bands from Larry and could not be happier. Larry is truly a gem among jewelers and humans in general. Iâll be recommending Fadenâs to...
Read moreI took my daughter there because she got a ring stuck on her finger that was cutting off her circulation. It was after 4pm and they close at 5pm Larry the owner very promptly catered to her with what he thought was a simple cutting of a ring that he does frequently but the ring was 3 rings intertwining and also made of steel which made it very difficult. At one point he I thought he was not going to be able to do it but he didnât give up and after many attempts he decided to try and other more complicated method in which he was successful at removing all three rings one by one and ended up taking much longer and he and his employee stayed after hours until the rings were off. They were both very kind and accommodating the whole time. I was grateful we ended up there ....
