seems like a great guy and knows his stuff but took him TWO MONTHS to get my amp back to replace an output resistor. now my super reverb sounds muddy and a new problem, the bass control cuts the volume out at 1. seems like everyone else has had a great experience with russ, but not me especially after reading the post where he replaced blown output tubes and replaced and biased the amp...

Terrible experience. This guy literally had my guitar for an entire year, just to install two humbuckers and an active midboost. After waiting for months, I had to find the schematic he needed because he either didn't bother or couldn't find it himself. He never once checked in with me; I checked in with him about once a month. The process was agonizingly slow and it seemed like he had no real sense of urgency in working on it or informing me how the work was going....

I am a Jersey gal who was in need of repairs for my Electro Nord Keyboard a few months back. I wasn't comfortable taking my baby to anyone here in NJ, and that's when I found Russ.
