I’ve been a loyal customer of Wheelhouse sports card shop for quite some time. I love all the other two older locations, but my recent visit to this newer location at Ardmore was so disappointing that I doubt I’ll ever return to this location ever again. The worker with glasses had one of the worst attitudes I’ve ever encountered. Despite me being a repeat buyer, he was dismissive and unprofessional throughout the entire interaction.
When I mentioned the prices seemed high, he casually admitted the cards were overpriced, as if that justified it, and showed no interest in addressing my concerns. To top it off, while I was standing at the register ready to check out, he decided it was a good time to start drinking instead of finishing the transaction.
This level of disrespect and lack of customer service is unacceptable. If you value your time, money, and dignity, I’d recommend taking your...

When I walked into Wheelhouse hoping to sell a collection of sports cards — a mix of years, sports, and players — expecting at least a bit of respect and fair evaluation. He barely looked at my collection before labeling it “wax junk” — a term which felt more designed to insult than to inform. It wasn’t just disparaging, it was plainly gratuitous. Then, in the same breath, he tried to position himself as some humble “small business owner” while embodying every bit of corporate arrogance I wanted to avoid. The irony was almost comical.
Whether you’re an experienced collector or just getting started, do yourself a favor and take your...
Read moreHappy to have this LCS in the neighborhood. Friendly staff, they were happy to help out, which is really the key at an LCS. Hobby boxes are crazy prices these days, so can’t ding them for that at all, and they carry the new stuff. High end too, if you like that. Friendly service and good singles make a big difference, though someone like me would love more vintage. They have a selection of packs that has newer product, and also blaster boxes. Some good deals if you are willing to look, even on the occasional hobby boxes, and you can sit and open there and they provide the sleeves. Went to an event at the Wayne location that was great fun and assume Ardmore will be having those too. And I have submitted to JSA for auto authentication here and am very impressed with how easy it is....
