CVS — Local services in Haverhill

If I could give ZERO stars regarding the CVS Pharmacy (located at 425 Lowell Ave, Haverhill, MA 01832) then I absolutely would. This is by far the one and only CVS Pharmacy that of my 71 years of being on this earth I would NEVER EVER return back to nor reccomend to anyone else. There is a very long list of CVS's that I would recommend going to that are far better then this one beyond comparison. This CVS Pharmacy for sure is NOT on that list. Just like the other reviewers before me have mentioned their unpleasant experiences with the pharmacy staff, especially when asking for a simple flu shot, I have experienced the same today if not worse. I came to the CVS Pharmacy to get a flu shot for myself and my family and was told by the pharm tech at the register that I can only get a flu shot if I make an appointment. There was no people behind me in line, the phone's weren't going off, there was a sufficient amount of pharmacy staff that didn't seem busy enough (one was on their phone laughing at what someone wrote) to not be able to give a simple flu shot that would take them no more then 5 mins total. I asked if it's possible to give me a flu shot especially given no one else was behind me and even when calling to the CVS Pharmacy it states that appointments are optional (NOT MANDATORY). The pharmacy tech insisted that I make an appointment for a different day. I asked if I could speak to the pharmacy manager. He went back and I could hear him talking to this lady saying that I want to get a flu shot. She came to the register without a proper introduction on what her title is or name. I was confused if this lady even worked in the pharmacy because she didn't even have the CVS scrubs or lab coat on. Completely unprofessional. Turned out she (Sue) wasn't even the manager but just the pharmacist. Sue was EXTREMELY rude, unprofessional, COMPLETELY out of line, and confrontational to myself and my entire family. Sue's behavior is completely unacceptable and should NEVER be tolerated at CVS. She yelled at my family and made up a lie saying that they don't do flu shots the day after a holiday (New Year's). I find that extremely interesting especially since 1) it doesn't say that anywhere 2) New Years day was 2 days ago. AND 3) After walking away from the appalling screaming from this unpleasant and unprofessional lady I went ahead and checked myself online on CVS if they do flu shots after a holiday and they indeed do. Many if not all CVS Pharmacies do, it just so happens that only THIS CVS pharmacy doesn't..... This CVS Pharmacy needs some serious customer service training and should work on professionalism....

Went to pick up a prescription tonight for insulin and syringes. There were two pharmacists there, and were wonderfully attentive despite how busy it was and were eager to answer any questions. Five stars for customer service. My complaint is due to a deadly piece of advice they gave. Syringes come in different unit sizes to match medicines, and are not interchangeable (a unit of U100 is 2.5x more concentrated than U40). They both insisted that the syringe's unit size did not matter and only determined how many mL would be administered, and when I tried to defend my case they made passing remarks to one another over how "wrong" I was. If I had taken their advice, and used the U40 syringes I had now on some new U100 medicine, it would've been a fatal dose. I was given the correct size syringes afterwards. I hope the department reads this and corrects their understanding, because misinformation like that will...

This is the most unprofessional pharmacy DO NOT GO HERE if you want to be treated as if they think there better then you. The whole staff does not do there job the girl with the tattoos with scraggly hair seams to be on drugs. She gets my order wrong every time. I ask if my prescription is ready she say its not in, I call back the same day and speak with another pharmacist and they tell me it is in. This girl should be fired she does this all the time and does not want to do her job. If i could give this place a zero I would. They have no manners to there customers. Sin Chig Lee is extremely rude and lies to the customers. Your prescription will never be ready when they say it is. Stay away and find a good pharmacy that respect you and takes care of there customer service. Because this CVS does not care about...
