Westgate Market Place — Local services in Haverhill

The only market basket I go to I just wish The section where You can order food. The people that cooked it would wear masks..... I called a few months ago to report that I was standing there waiting for a burger that I ordered to get done and I noticed one of the guys that was making food for another customer was talking and laughing and I noticed something fly from his mouth down to where the lettuce, tomatoes and onions and all the other condiments were. I don't know what it was but I seen something fly from his mouth down to the direction of all that stuff and I completely walked away and didn't even get the burger I ordered but when I got home I called and asked to speak to a manager but the lady that answered said the manager was not available but she would take my message and relay it to the manager. So I told her about what I had witnessed and that I think it's disgusting that the people there do not wear masks. But they sit back there talking and laughing and having a good old time and I don't know if anyone knows. But when you talk or laugh a lot of times you involuntarily spit. So I don't understand why there's a protective glass in front of the food to protect it from the customers. But the people that are cooking the food are the actual dirty ones back there spitting all over everyone's food... Make that make sense and please make them wear masks. It's disgusting every time I go there still there's one maybe two people that have a mask It should be mandatory to wear a mask just like a hairnet when you're dealing with...

This store carries everything you could ever imagine. The produce is always fresh and well displayed. There's a great variety of fish, cuts of beef, pork and chicken. If you can't find what you're looking for, the employees are very accommodating and will go out back and get it for you. The bakery is equally well stocked with a diverse variety of bread, rolls, pastries and birthday and special occasion cakes can be ordered. Ready made calzones and sandwiches are located next to the bakery. You can order sandwiches, a meal which varies each day. Hot dogs, pizza can be ordered to take out and at the front right side of the store where you can enjoy your meal. There are also a variety of salads; potato salads, seafood salad next to the deli section at the back of the store. Next to the deli, is the seafood section is located where fish, lobster, chowders and seafood stuffing is located. The dairy section is located on the right side of the store where a variety of cheeses, yoghurts, refrigerated juices, coffees, milk, cream,and eggs. There are 2 registers for customers with smaller orders. Also, customer service is at the front right side...

I visited Market Basket at Westgate and they seem to be handling COVID-19 precautions very well. The line was long and of course I picked the windy and coldest day to go, but the line moved at a good pace so it wasn't to bad. Six foot tape lines where on the sidewalk for social distancing. There was a combination of employees and customers who were wearing masks and or gloves. When you get to the checkout line there are again tape lines for distancing and each customer is taken one at a time when checking out. There seemed to be a reasonable selection of food and there was plenty of paper towels and toilet paper. The only complaint or concern I can voice is that more people should be wearing masks especially...
