The RiversEdge Plaza is the #1 shopping center for the denisins of Groveland and parts of Haverhill. The plaza features many of the facilities most of us would visit frequently in our lives such as a top tier salon and barber shop Supercuts, where the certified cosmotologists and hair stylists give you quality haircuts for reasonable prices. A dentist office called Dr. Dental with a staff of qualified and well practiced and trained dental experts who fix your mouth right up with little to no pain for you or your children. And one of the best Market Baskets in the town of Haverhill with a wide variety of goods and product to choose from as well as a fully functioning bakery with a fully stocked donut case and a wide spread of pastries and baked goods to buy such as their delectable french toast fritters and apple fritters, hand crafted cakes and pies and a whole slew of cookies. The store also gets a fresh delivery of sushi daily between 10 and 10:30 and features a delicious quantity of freshly made sushi made by market baskets very own sushi chefs delivered from other stores. On the subject of sushi, the plaza also has what may be the best Chinese restaurant and sushi bar in all of Haverhill, Oyummy's. The decor and scenery are sublime and the variety of Chinese and Japanese cuisine is unbelievable and irresistibly delicious and for low prices as far as Chinese restaurant go. They also feature a fully stocked bar with skilled and friendly bar tenders who know how to make many of their special mixed drinks. My favorite is the longisland iced tea they make which is both strong and tastes wonderful. The plaza is also home to the Haverhill House of Pizza, a small pizzarea with quality pies, subs, burgers and all of your favorite doses from a pizza place. The food their is crazy good and all for reasonable prices and all in a comfy little restaurant dinning room complete with a window view of the parking lot. The plaza houses a friendly and frequently visited Dunkin' Donuts with a happy little staff complete with seasoned veteran management members of the Dunkin' Donuts crew who always have a friendly smile for you. and a drive through for the people who just don't have the time to stop and smell the coffee. The donuts and coffee are made fresh daily and are prepared to the specifications of the customer to create a cup of get-me-movin'-pick-me-up-juice that we all need in the morning to get us through the day. There is also a lovely little bakery called Emily's Bakery where the staff is friendly and kind and ready to serve you a delicious and quality made baked delight. My first time going in their I ordered a simple brownie and I was served by a friendly little lady who gave my fast and quality service. Her computer was acting bup though so I couldn't pay with my card at the the and I had no money, but because I was a first time customer and she was just a nice lady she let me have it for free. (WARNING: THIS DOES NOT MEAN ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE FACT THAT SHE WAS JUST BEING NICE. THERE IS NO BARGAIN OR SPECIAL TREATMENT INVOLVED, YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR YOUR STUFF SO DON'T GET ANY IDEAS). When my family first moved to Groveland they would order pies form the bakery for themselves or company. They always said the were absolutely delicious. The next time you need to stock up on groceries, need a hair cut or a filling or are hungry for pizza, Chinese food, coffee, donuts or even Burger King (yes there is a Burger King, but it's not worth talking about), I highly recommend going to this plaza for all your...
Read moreThis plaza has a lot of your necessities in one spot, including a place for groceries, hardware, a bakery, a dollar store, and fast food. Edit: they fixed my main issue that I wrote about below. There are now curbs, a better drive through, and stop signs with painted road markings. All the storefronts in the plaza got a facelift too. Nice work!
Original review: “I will say though that the parking lot itself is a bit haphazard. To the right of Market Basket towards the central entrance is where a lot of confusion can arise. The lot is completely flat with no raised curbs, and little traffic signage. There is often conflict with Dunkin Donuts drive-thru traffic backing up directly into the entrance lanes. Lanes should be clearly marked and there should be a clear layout. It’s obvious that the Burger King and CVS were added later because they are raised up above the rest of the stores, but it seems like they were placed on top of the parking lot rather than planned into it. There are spots where you’re driving though parking spaces rather than in a road, and because of this people tend to drive across the lot since there isn’t a clearly delineated road to do so. Needs better traffic...
Read moreThis is my favorite place to go get as much done as possible without the hassle of traffic, long lines and crowds. If I give a good review you have to promise not to go crowding the place up when I wanna go, cuz the Dollar tree there is always well stocked, clean and the staff are nice. The Market Basket is great cuz the specials arent trashed, the people are friendly as always, but here they seem to know what they have and respect it. It's more of a family market feel than the other Market Baskets. The hardware store is usually well stocked and the seasonal items are changed out timely but seems to be more according to what's going on locally which makes it feel small townish and I like that. The plaza all in all was difficult to drive through but has been and is being in improved tremendously. I only wish there was a way to be open up the back side by to the river, then it would feel like you're actually at the...
