Safeway at the Crossroads closed. Opened a new store on Alahou St., down the hill from the old one across the Belt Highway. Turn North on Alahou. Accessible from Henry street this way. One may also get there through Lanihau Shopping Center, if one drives directly through Lanihau parking lot from Palani St. Lanihau Center is Southside off Palani Rd., between Belt Highway and Kuakini Highway. This shopping center hosts Safeway, Subway, and domino's pizza. In the recent years the homeless and addict's have been present all around the shopping center which is frightening for those who have kids. What's the establishment's solution lock the public restrooms. This is a nice strip mall. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. This strip mall has a Subway, where I got a tasty foot long cookie, a Domino's, Chinese restaurant, sushi place, AutoZone, and Denny's. There used to be a Safeway here but it moved across the street.
