Not sure if I should leave this review for Kona Town Hui or Pokela Studio, so I’ll leave it for both :) I loved meeting Stephanie and Apo on my recent trip to the Big Island! They were gracious enough with their time to give me the studio tour, and I got to learn a lot about each of them. It’s super cool to see how Apo’s traditional net making is used as a pattern for the ceramics that Stephanie produces! Whether you’re a local or you’re just visiting, you’ll be delighted to find they offer classes and clay play, which are great options to make something truly unique and have it shipped to you! If you don’t want to get your hands dirty (hey, I get it), they have a great selection of beautiful plates, mugs, trays, magnets etc. made by local artists. Def a place I would recommend stopping by to check out! (And a great place to get tasty drinks at Kona Brewing...

I can’t wait to go back to the island, and will definitely return to...

Beautiful ceramics and easy shopping atmosphere with no pressure. Glad we happened to stop in...
