We discovered this little corner spot because one of our favorite restaurants Sakura was closed for the afternoon. What surprised us was that this is a sit down Chinese eatery, and servers do take your order. The menu is massive with many options. You have a choice between a la Carte or plate menus, so take some time to review the menu and ask questions to figure out what you want. I had a honey walnut shrimp plate, which came with rice, Mac salad, and a green salad. I gave the Mac salad to my husband. The shrimp were delightful, and the sauce was light, sweet, and tasty. We also split a calamari appetizer, which oddly came with french fries. The sauce was very good and not too spicy, but the fried calamari was a wee bit overdone. The crab Rangoon was fried in VERY stale oil. I love crab Rangoon and it wasn’t even edible. The hot and sour soup was hot alright which isn’t a problem except it had ZERO flavor other than the heat. The twice cooked pork was old, tuff, and dry like it had been reheated from someone’s lunch plate hours earlier. The honey walnut shrimp was decent at but was actually served with stale pecans not walnuts at all. At least we could eat the pineapple rice. Maybe it was because it was Sunday night who knows but we...
