I went in with a torn 110V ac transformer plug (to 24V) that was for my sprinkler system. it was torn because of the weight and falling out of the outlet. I explained this to the counter guy and he went and found me a new transformer (with a green power light) and gave me 2 feet of 16 guage wire. He walked me through what i needed to do with it. There was also a regular customer there making a purchase that showed interest in my issue. The price was good ($22.00 total). i went home and was up and running in 10 minutes. i would recommend this store to anyone doing electrical work and I will go back there for future purchases....

While couple of other electrical stores don't provide personal experience or assistance, A - VAN seems to be an exception. Please go there first to get your products.
