Premio Foods Inc — Local services in Hawthorne

We were scheduled to deliver for 1600 appt time. We followed their instructions and called them 50 miles away to await for their instructions to come in.

Well after giving our PO number we were told they can not receive our load. The buyer pushed it out till the next day for 1600. So we now wait in limbo for these people.

The next day at 0900 am we get a call from the rcvr that they can not receive the product today at all because they have no room for the product.

She told me to go to their other location in Union City. Well I call the union City location and they are not answering their phones. Mind you this other location is even worse for delivery and you can NOT show up and say I'm here. I will say at least the ladies in the office were pleasant and I'm sure it was out of their control.

However it still has killed us for the last 24 and counting hrs for us waiting for them to decide what to do with this load.

So the receptionist at premio in Hawthorne has now sent out emails to the manager of the union City facility to see what's going on and when and or if I can even deliver this load of meat to them as we store their product in our reefer.

Our company is trying to work with them to get this resolved but nothing is happening and it's a nightmare caused by Preimo Sausage company.

Ok so here's my story. Receiving folks are friendly enough but forgetful or don't write information down. I showed up for my 830pm app checked in at 8. Receiver said they was finishing the 630 trailer and the 730 was moved til tomorrow and their get me in after the 630 one. Took my number said their call when ready or come out and get me, to go park(since i was in the street, very little and tight parking) and wait in my truck. So i waited. So the 630 leaves and immediately another truck backs in then another truck that came in after me. I asked the driver what time was her app, she said 9 sooooo i went back around the back of building to recheck with Receiving. Dude didn't even know i was out there waiting apparently the other guy didn't let him know and didn't even write it down anywhere. Said they gotta finish the one in the door then their get me in maybe, so now i got more waiting which I've already waited 4 hours so far because they didn't remember.

Edited: Finally got in the door at 2am. Ended up having to blindside back but the guys was very helpful in helping me back without hitting anything. About 45 minutes unload done. So other reviews where it'll take 4 to 6 hours to get in a door and uploaded is accurate,...

I don't care what anyone says .. yeah it's tight.. yes you have to call before you come, I was 12 miles 14 away. Appointment was for 1800 I called at 0745... Yes I did . Reading all the reviews had me messed up. The receiver said how far are you , I said, ... She said oh wow you're close, stay there and I'll definitely try and work you in .. called me back a few minutes later, got here at 0830 docked by 0915 (I would call this a win). Came down 208. Very tight turn for my truck (Big Boy truck), was a little skeptical about the road I was on (residential) but got here and the guard got me staged (it's very tight and specific so it's a must for them to do to keep traffic flow) then the dude came out after the other truck left. I thought it would be a blind but NO he wants you to sight side so guides you and traffic ... You back in .. and the best part ... The very best part. I was going to go to Walmart to get sausage for my freezer.. I only buy the Premio brand... Before I goofed around and asked... Dude said if you want you can buy cases of sausage and whatever other products. Got it and less than half the store price. I had a real good experience here. EVERYONE is nice, courteous, helpful...
