The sign up was simple and fairly quick and their automatic follow-ups (receipts and notifications) make the process of renting a unit hassle-free. This should be a given for all types of businesses.
The storage areas are clean and well-lit (lights go on automatically as you walk through). This should be a given for all storage facilities.
Note: Any wear the walls/paint/elevators are now showing (I've been renting over a year) are made by the renters and that is to be expected. I would like them to touch these things up when financially and physically possible, but it doesn't affect my overall rating of the facility.
The main reason for my high rating is the customer service agent I've dealt with when signing up and when I moved from a 5x10 unit to a 5x5 unit: Edwin. I was impressed by him immediately. He's young but already naturally skilled at customer interaction. He's relaxed and excited at that same time; adept at his job and always upbeat when dealing with customers. I had two other occasions to talk with him (like the aforementioned move from one unit to another) and he was always looking to be helpful and informative. I never felt rushed by him and he always got me the answers I needed. (In one instance he was unsure of an answer so he got me the answer while I was busy making my move.)
The only negative for me is that Edwin is moving out of state (but he says he will still be working with this company and they are being helpful in that change). Fortunately, Edwin says his replacement is very good, and I trust his opinion on this.
Edwin, if you see this, enjoy the move and may you only meet people like yourself for the rest of your life. Thanks for your help over the past year.

I popped in unannounced today to inquire about pricing and after asking me a few simple questions to assess my needs, rather than simply quoting a price, Dawn offered to show me a unit that she believed would best suit my needs. While viewing the unit, Dawn continued to provide me with all of the information that I needed to know, especially as a first time renter. She even made suggestions for placement of items to help maximize the space, instead of trying to upsell a larger unit. Dawn was personable, professional, attentive, informative and honest. The facility is in a great location and appears to be clean and secure. Pricing seems fair and reasonable for an inside, temperature controlled storage facility.
