Villa Amore — Restaurant in Aberdeen Township

I don’t often leave reviews for restaurants, but I had to after visiting Villa Amore. As soon as I entered the restaurant I felt very welcomed. The atmosphere and energy of the place made me feel like I had transported to Italy. Not only was the food amazing and taste homemade, but I truly felt the care and attention of the staff there. They took the time to make sure I had what I needed and was happy with how my dish turned out. They also recommended I try their in-house made pineapple lemonade which was absolutely stellar, I could really taste the fresh pineapple. Although the pastas and pizzas (we had the linguine with white clam sauce, vodka chicken parm, and the orecchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe, and of course garlic knots) were the main show, don’t sleep on the desserts. We have had multiple issues with delivery from this place and are no longer willing to give them anymore chances. One time their delivery guy delivered our pizza to the wrong house. It sat on our neighbor’s porch for an hour and we literally saw the driver outside of our window go to our neighbor’s house to get the pizza then finally deliver it to us cold and gross. Instead of them sending us a new order they just said that we can get money off on the next order, which never happened. Today they told us that they weren’t taking GrubHub orders and that’s why our order wasn’t delivered yet they never turned off anything for GrubHub and you could still make orders. My family and I couldn’t wait to order from our friends restaurant. We love Italian food and have tried so many places, but this by far was the best! The Sicilian pizza was amazing and had just the right amount of cheese. The crust was perfect too. We also had my favorite dish penne vodka. Wow!!! This was so delicious. I felt like I didn’t want to stop eating , but knew I wanted some for lunch tomorrow. The Cesar salad was so tasty. They make their own dressing, which makes it extra special.
