Smith's True Value — Local services in Headland

The kid who helped me was extremely polite, and searched with me for the right pie fittings for half an hour, then cut a 6" piece of pipe for me. He was very nice, and clearly doing his best, but he didn't really know any more how to find things than I did. They just opened. I'm sure he'll get better soon. Overall, a pleasant experience you wouldn't get in a Warehouse store, Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. A bit pricier, but worth the experience. Besides, my car's a gas hog, and the buck or two difference would have been eaten up in gas. Good and thoughtful inventory. Friendly, and locally owned. I would, and I'm sure...

I have always given True Value my business, my kids love it there however the weekday afternoon cashier is extremely judgmental and very rude. We've been going to True Value for over 5 years and will no longer go back. The cashier is so rude and has made several inappropriate comments to me and my children, I have even talked to management about this, and they will not do anything about it. If I do ever go back will only be in the morning because the weekday morning cashier...

I frequent this place on a weekly basis to get fuel, food, hardware, helpful hints, lawn and garden, pet food, etc. Everyone here is kind, helpful, knowledgeable and most of all..if they don't have it, they will tell you who does. I have had them online order items for me as well. Breakfast is better than anywhere...
