DO NOT WORK WITH DRESS ALTERER THERESA My first time trying on wedding dresses was with Linda and I couldn't have had a better experience. She gave great pointers and made the whole experience so wonderful. After going to other bridal shops, we all thought Linda provided the best experience. While I didn't find my dress there....I wish I would have thought to have her order my dress I wanted to give her the business!

My only caution I would put out is to NOT work with Theresa. She does dress alterations out of Linda's bridal. I repeat DO NOT WORK WITH DRESS ALTERER THERESA

If you want more detail, here is what happened to me: I gave her my dress in March, and two weeks before the wedding in August, she had not touched my dress and had completely forgotten things we had discussed in our initial appointment. She also tried to make me wear pads and taller shoes to cut down on alterations. She makes it sound like she is saving you money, but in actuality, it is $30 dollars or less to take in some of the things she was trying to make me pad. I didn't notice how wrong this was until I went to someone else...who made me feel beautiful just the way I was and said she would make the dress fit ME, not make me fit the dress. Also, during my appointment, she told me that my dress was "off the rack" even though it wasn't and that she had a bride that "made me look like a horse" She spent most of our two appointments talking about all her other clients, rather than making it a moment about me and my dress (which again I didn't notice until I had a different experience).

Beyond those negative parts of the experience, two weeks before my wedding, she said she couldn't do my dress. She blamed it on my mom, expressing concern. But I was there when my mom talked with Theresa, and she asked my mom three times what was wrong; then my mom told her she was concerned about whether she was going to get the dress done. She had canceled appointments with us and had completely forgotten things I wanted to be done to the dress (like adding straps). After this conversation, Theresa said she would get the dress done in three days, if not sooner, and told us not to worry. But instead, the next night, she texted that she was giving me my dress back and would not do the alterations. Again, she had my dress in March, and it was now the end of July and two weeks before my wedding. After talking with other people who have used her and had her mess up their dresses or get them done last minute, I am glad I ended up going to someone else. But this did place some unneeded stress on my day.

I ended up using Yen and P and Y Fashions in Butte, and she is AMAZING and gave me the experience any bride deserves. Night and day from my experiences prior. While many Helena girls may not want to drive to Butte (I had to find an alter who was willing to do my dress in a week and a half due to Theresa canceling on me), I would highly encourage you to find someone else besides Theresa. I have some further recommendations if you want to reach out to me, I just have not used them personally. P.S. Butte has natural babies breath everywhere...so it ended up working out amazing for me for my wedding decorations! So if you want to get your dress done and get babies breath for...

I had said yes to the wrong dress at a different establishment over a year ago. My wedding had to be postponed multiple times due to circumstances out of our control which left me weary of excitement for the big day. The fact that I wasn’t crazy about my dress didn’t help. I called Linda who was able to squeeze in an appointment for me at the last minute and she encouraged me to bring my dress with me. I loved this because right from the beginning I didn’t feel any pressure to buy a new one if it wasn’t right.

When I walked in, I saw that Linda had so many more options that fit the mold of what I was looking for in a dress compared to the previous places I had been. Linda was very patient with me as I tried on dress after dress and took my time to decide. I wanted to make sure I didn’t make the wrong decision again. But because of her extensive knowledge and guidance, I was able to walk out with a new dress that I am absolutely in love with!!! This is exactly what I needed to renew my wedding spirit! I am so very thankful that Linda gave me the opportunity to find the right dress without all of the stress and pressure! My only disappointment is that I didn’t come to Linda’s...

When I started looking into shopping for a wedding dress, I wasn't sure about where to go or what to do, and I was a little overwhelmed. I heard about Linda's Bridal Images & Mr. Tux from a friend whose daughter bought her dress there and had a wonderful experience, so I decided to start there. I am truly SO SO SO glad I did. Picking out my dress was a memorable time, I don't think it could have gone any better. Jewelie did and amazing job helping me! I found two dresses I really liked and I can't tell you how many times I took them off and put them back on and she patiently and joyfully helped me each time. She was quite and didn't give her opinion until I was stuck and asked her. She answered with such wisdom and helped me pick my oh so beautiful dress! Then when I came in for my fitting Linda made me feel like the most beautiful girl in the whole word and patiently answered all our questions. I just look back on my experience with them and a smile grows from deep within that radiates the truly joyful experience I had.
