"Four Seasons Park" would be an equally fitting name for centrally located Centennial Park. In winter, it is one of the few open, free and accessable outdoor places in town with both a clear path for joggers - amble sunshine - as well as plenty of open space for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. It features a skate park, many soccer and baseball fields, a dog park (with separate areas for large and small dogs), many picnic tables, a playground, some stationary fitness stations, and some outstanding pedestrian walkways that are connected to trails that go all the way out to Springmeadow Lake State Park (passing Barney Park along the way) in one direction, and to Nature Park in the other. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe walking trails are so nice here. Thereās also plenty of space to play in the grass and a soccer field. This park has the biggest American flag and flagpole Iāve ever seen. The trails connect on the east and west ends to the main trail system if you want to go beyond the park. To the north is a bike park. Thereās some pull up bars and exercise devices alongside the paved trail. The views here are nice too, with a clear shot at the surrounding mountains. Thereās an underpass that goes under highway 12 to get you to the carousel and Great Northern center. This is an excellent place to do active things and overall a...
