The walking trails are so nice here. There’s also plenty of space to play in the grass and a soccer field. This park has the biggest American flag and flagpole I’ve ever seen. The trails connect on the east and west ends to the main trail system if you want to go beyond the park. To the north is a bike park. There’s some pull up bars and exercise devices alongside the paved trail. The views here are nice too, with a clear shot at the surrounding mountains. There’s an underpass that goes under highway 12 to get you to the carousel and Great Northern center. This is an excellent place to do active things and overall a wonderful park!

I went to watch a Lacrosse Game. Found out where the game was being played and found a bench. Watched the opening of the game but the temp was cold and the wind was blowing quite hard. I stayed as long as I could then I had to leave. I will try to share a few photos. Enjoyed what I could see. šŸ„ šŸ„…

Such a nice park. Something for every age. Bike hills, big and small. Skate board area. It is huge and so diverse. Well done. Nice kids go there. Small kids are safe and everyone is caring and helpful if someone gets hurt or tools are needed to get a kid's scooter fixed!

"Four Seasons Park" would be an equally fitting name for centrally located Centennial Park. In winter, it is one of the few open, free and accessable outdoor places in town with both a clear path for joggers - amble sunshine - as well as plenty of open space for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. Springtime sports decend on the many playing fields, leaving the parking lot full on many afternoons, nights and weekends with many glowing faces. When the heat of the summer is in full swing, community sponsered family-friendly events take center stage - with bounce houses, food trucks and fireworks. In the fall, there are continued opportunities to eat a picnic lunch in the pavilion, walk the dog in the dog park, bike the seperate rugged trails, run the path or simply take the kids after school to the equal access playground. Centennial is a year-round way to celebrate Helena's...

This park is pretty big considering that it's entirely within the city limits. It features a skate park, many soccer and baseball fields, a dog park (with separate areas for large and small dogs), many picnic tables, a playground, some stationary fitness stations, and some outstanding pedestrian walkways that are connected to trails that go all the way out to Springmeadow Lake State Park (passing Barney Park along the way) in one direction, and to Nature Park in the other. It is also adjacent to Carroll College and the YMCA, and is connected to Memorial park via a pedestrian underpass, making it a top-notch, comprehensive recreation destination. This is a...
