The food flavor was great, employees very friendly, and seating was prompt. We ordered pollo al crème. When the dish came out it had less than 5 small pieces of chicken (each piece the size of a small gummy worm). When we asked where the chicken was they informed us they would fix it. After awhile we checked in again to see how long the chicken would be. Turns out they left the chicken at the window and the waitress said something to the effect of “ why hasn’t this been served yet?.” when we received the bill for the meal they charged $10 for “extra chicken.”
Also noted: 1)During the meal the people in front of us also reported their meal had multiple issues. They left very unhappy at the end of the meal.
2)The staff was also was laughing because they had left someone’s credit card in the machine when ringing up a different order. They then said “at least it’s a credit card”
With this I would still consider eating here as the food was very flavorful. I would be prepared for the possibility of issues with your order, and watch your credit...
Read moreI've eaten lunch here a few times over the last month...same thing (lrg street taco & a 7up) $9.50...not awful for a lunch...until yesterday. I ordered the exact same thing but this time was upcharged $1.00 for a tablespoon of shredded cheese and $2.00 for 2 tablespoons of guacamole. Now, I'm a baker, so I'm pretty darn good at eyeballing amounts of ingredients. I've always ordered my taco this way, no pico and no cilantro, cheese & guacamole instead. I was not credited for the product deducted but charged for the substitution of ingredients without being told. The taco went from &6.50 to $9.50 (for a single taco). Had I known at the time if ordering, I would have ordered something else. I realize it's only a few dollars, but it's the principle and now they have lost a customer. In addition, I work for a fairly large company in town and you can be sure I will share my experience with my coworkers...
Read moreOur server was a nice young guy, attentive, friendly and made sure we had "everything we needed" ... Unfortunately the food was just plain awful. I ordered chilaquiles that were inedible. They were completely mush, burnt sauce and chips that turned into a pile of brown squish, no crisp edges, ugh so bad. I love chilaquiles and was stoked to see it on the menu. No cilantro or cotija on top, not that it would have mattered. The beans were mushy gray paste that honestly had no flavor whatsoever... It was truly odd! I asked for a side of verde hot sauce, which was actually pretty tasty, so I ate that with the chips and salsa, my side of lettuce and cheese and attempted the beans until I gave up on the dish altogether. I was with a group of three others and their food was mediocre at best. I don't usually leave a poor review, but this was noteworthy. Great service, food...
