Glowing review time! Item I wanted to buy was not available, though the upgraded version was in-store, but incorrectly underpriced. The store owner let me buy the upgraded version at the reduced price labeled on it. Saved about $20 what it would've cost otherwise. I bought a bunch of adapters, which I needed anyway, even though they were slightly cheaper on Amazon because I wanted to show my appreciation for this local business. I had many questions about RF interference on audio cabling near a radio station, and Piccolo's attentive and knowledgeable staff answered them thoroughly to great satisfaction. This store is a true gem. The employees are knowledgeable and committed to helping you find the right instrument whether or not you're able to purchase it from them. I stopped int looking for a highly rated beginner guitar I found online. Unfortunately, Piccolos didn't have it in stock, but Fred spent about 45 minutes showing me different guitars and explaining the pros and cons between what they had available and what I had seen online. I got the sense that he really wanted me to have a positive experience learning guitar regardless of where i purchased my instrument. I mostly stop in here to get small bits and pieces. Most recently, I picked up a shockmount for a microphone. It felt good being able to stop in to a local place to pick up something trivial. In another stop, I went to pick up some mandolin strings. At the time they had the usuals, J-74's and what not. I mentioned that I was looking for GHS Silk and Steels, which they did not have.
