Ranch Roots Market — Local services in Helotes

My family and I LOVE Ranch Roots Market! We have been ordering weekly for a couple of months now and everything has been fresh and amazing quality (I’ll list some of our favorites at the end). The two families that own Ranch Roots are some of the kindest people you will ever meet (my boys LOVE going with me to pick up our order and talk to the kids of the two families). If healthy, nutritious food is important to you but you are unsure about buying a membership (which is actually a really great price- $49 for a year! I thought it was going to be a monthly thing and cost way more!), then go into the store when they are open on Friday and Saturday and you will know right away that it is the right choice and the best choice for your family. They are constantly adding more and more items and my young boys have fun picking out new, healthy things to try. They also love choosing some “not as healthy” items as well and I love that I know they are made with the best ingredients! Who knew ice cream could taste SO good and make you feel gross afterwards?! Some of our favorites: sliced ham, grass fed and grass finished ground beef (we also liked the grass fed, grain finished but I try to stick to the other one), fresh-milled bread (amazing!!! I make my own bread, but occasionally need a break and I am happy to have found the best replacement for those times!), organic ice cream (I didn’t know this even existed! We have loved every flavor we have tried! We have tried 5 different ones so far- Peanut butter fudge honeycomb, Triple chocolate blackout cookie, Tahitian vanilla, Mint chocolate chip, and Strawberry Crumble), sourdough cinnamon graham crackers, wildflower honey, green loose leaf lettuce (makes the best salads and stays fresh longer than the organic lettuce I buy at the store), cilantro, chives, strawberries, micro greens, and tallow and goat milk soap. Ranch Roots Market has changed the way we shop. We were already on a healthy food journey and this made it so much easier and I love even more who we are supporting. The foods offered here are not only clean eating, they’re from local farmers and local community members that are working to provide clean and healthy items for everyone. Some of our favorites so far have been the breakfast & Italian sausage, sourdough bagels, freshly milled bread, apple butter, wildflower honey, and coffee bean oil. We love shopping at Ranch Roots! They really prioritize high quality, organic, local groceries and have an exceptional variety of items to choose from! My family especially loves going to pick up our grocery order together and interacting with the wonderful families that run this market.
