HTeaO - Helotes — Restaurant in Helotes

Time/day of visit was 12/17/23 2:20pm. This is the 2nd time we've been here where they have been very rude at the drive thru. We have never been to an HTeaO until this one opened up so we have no idea what they have or what we would want unless you look at the menu which you can only see when you get to the order checkpoint. The first time we were very rushed into to choosing what we wanted (and we were the only car in line). Today, the guy taking the order came on and asked us what we wanted and my husband replied "sorry I'm just looking over the menu real quick". The guy then said "can you speak up I can't hear you" so my husband repeated himself louder so he could hear. He definitely heard him the second time but yet came back with "can you repeat that again?" In a sarcastic tone as if my husband was too loud? At that point my husband didn't say anything because he was so surprised. I didn't either for the same reason. The guy taking the order then asked "do you need more time?" And my husband responded "yeah" in a normal tone, not loud at ALL, and the guy said "okay I got that" so he clearly heard my husband the second time just chose to be rude as if my husband was too loud or being rude, which he wasn't. I had been looking forward to the grand opening of this Helotes location for months! Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. The employees were standing around letting one girl handle the cashier by herself with a line of people. When I finally got to the counter, I was unable to scan my app for points and also did not receive a receipt. The worst part of this experience was that my tea was labeled sweet raspberry, but was actually unsweetened. So sad with the whole experience. I will continue to make the drive to other...

I LOVE HTeaO!! They always have a refreshing and amazing chpice of drinks for all of my family! I a huge iced tea drinker, my husband can have a delicious hot coffee, and my daughter can get a floatie or tea of her choice! The store is always clean and well stocked, with staff that is super friendly and ALWAYS helpful! I love that we can get a little sample sip of the flavors, it helps before I get a huge glass of something I kihbt not like!
