This is my parish church. Thankfully, they are back to having some Sunday masses. To comply with the local guidelines, some changes to the celebration of the mass have been made. No alter boys, no hymnals, no mass reference booklets, No printed handouts at the end of mass, no collections and no congregating in the back of the church at the end of mass. As a lifelong Catholic, I am able to recite all of the Mass's prayers from memory. I'm concerned others may have a problem now that there is nothing to refer to. Even with all the necessary changes, communion is still a part of their mass. This is being offered at some risk to the priests and brothers.
