Leisure League thrift store has been one of my favorite thrift stores for years but under new management in recent months it has deteriorated. New lady managing this building on Walnut and she's not real friendly. She has also raised the prices too high. I noticed they ran an ad in the paper recently as they were having a huge sale with everything half price. Think it was a sidewalk sale. Anyway, they probably had to do that for the first time ever because the store was overstocked. There was so much furniture in the back room I don't know how they could have taken any more donations. And the prices were ridiculously high for furniture that was beat up, needed sanding down and refinished! Nothing selling because the prices are too high. Last 3 trips I made there I left empty handed. I can go to Walmart and buy new for less! Hope things change. And sooner rather than later. Hate to lose one of my favorite stores! PS THIS IS A CASH...
