Bob's Butcher Shop — Local services in Higgins Township

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have shopped here before but NEVER AGAIN! I went in at 12:45 this afternoon to buy two of their new pasties for dinner tonight. They were sold out but more were being made. So I ordered two to pick up later. The pasties would be ready by 4 pm. I had a board meeting that ran from 3:15 to 4:30. Kate knew that I had a meeting and said they would be open until 6 pm. I stopped in right after the meeting ended and my order was SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE!!! Now it's 5 pm, I have no quick dinner to feed my family and everything I have at home is frozen. Plus two more places to run to tonight, so no time to thaw and cook anything else. Someone's WORD, especially a new business's, should mean something. Obviously it doesn't at our local butcher shop. Worst customer service I have ever...

During the past weekend during the Fireman's Memorial. We took a moment to check out the store after looking at the grocery store. The quality of the the selection of meats was absolutely fantastic. The prices on the Ribeyes was slightly more than at the grocery, however the size and thickness was much greater at the butcher shop and the quality of the meat was amazing, meat wasn't touched up to make it look perfect, Absolutely tender when cooked to medium rare and fantastic flavor Some of the best steaks that I have bought through out our entire state. After stopping at a few places that claimed they sold "fresh meat", we thankfully came across Bob's Butcher Shop in Roscommon. After a super busy Memorial Day weekend they still had plenty of different meat cuts to offer. We bought some cheddar jalapeno burger patties, thick cut bacon, and strip steaks. They then recommended to stop down to the 5th Street Market to check out their huge selection of beer and wine. Thanks Bob...
