We are new to Roscommon. Just to say the least, I’m the last person to review or request an item that the store seems to not carry but I’m dying to have instead of going Meijers. However, I understand we are in a very small town. Hence, they carried all the flavors for “OH SNAP” and I thought well, it doesn’t hurt to ask if they can add a particular pickle flavored one called “Sassy” to their items. (June 24, 2024) Surprisingly, the cashier said we can request a “in store customer request form” thinking aaahh they will never respond. Sure enough a couple days later I get a call from a lady@(Deli) that said it’s not on her vendors list to even add to their existing collection. I said no worries! But can I share with you I even saved my request just to remind myself (see pic) and how happily impressed that your lady at the Deli actually called me to let me know she really tried to find what I was requesting but had no luck.
NOW THAT IS TRULY EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE @💯!
Moving forward July 30th…The story continues, I was just there and happen to be at the Deli and behind me was another Family Fare (Grayling) employee that was a customer that day and I said I’ve been meaning to stop in and see if their store carried an item I requested here at my location. And sure enough lady aka“Paula” said I remembered that request. Yes, I responded (lol)guilty it’s me! I introduced myself and said it was a pleasure meeting her. I just added to thank her for excellent CS follow up! It’s very rare these days to find good people that really take pride on excellent service! Shout out my new friend at the Deli (Paula)...
Read moreVery friendly staff but that is as far as it goes. This location is always out of sale items or weekly freebie, and pretty much if you need milk or other items that are normal use items it is a crapshoot on whether or not the store will have them in stock. The Produce section "Always" has moldy and bruised fruit and vegetables it is very hard to find any good fruit or vegetables their. When you first walk in the front of the first two isles smell like mold (Its has for years) it is pretty bad at other parts of the store as well. And the prices are so high and sadly if you go to the Grayling location you will find everything and I mean everything is cheaper there, and they are almost always fully stocked. Makes me sad I have to drive 20 minutes to go shopping when I have a store right in town but if I do take the drive, I have a cleaner store with stocked shelves and I save over 20-50 dollars per trip even with the extra gas I spent having to go to another location. So you do the math. I have said something gently a couple of times to employees about the smell and about the lack of groceries on the shelves, but all I get is an excuse about the trucks not bringing the items? Well funny how 20 minutes down the road that store of theirs got all their stock. Anyway, Not a good Family fare location. Beware if your going...
Read moreThis company is everything wrong with American wrapped up in one building. Greed and deception are a theme with this place. Alot of the prices that are on display are incorrect, it will say a price that's always cheaper but when they ring it up it will be more, this is due to either A. They are hoping you don't notice or you dont care about the price difference by the time check out comes or B. Major neglect and poor management. Either one aren't good. Family fare has its own inflation aside from the regular inflation the country already faces, they basically charge way more than any other establishment of its kind, screwing the hard working, tax paying citizens that call roscommon home. The argument that walmart and miejers are cheaper because they are bigger isnt a good one being that family fare has significantly more stores up here then both combined. Just a greedy greedy company that doesn't care about America or it's citizens and only cares about its money. It's...
