I first discovered Dayhouse almost a year ago. As a small business owner, I was struggling to work from home, especially since my clients were often 15 to 30 minutes away. I needed a professional yet welcoming space I could use between meetings, and Dayhouse turned out to be exactly that and so much more.
There are three things I especially love about Dayhouse:
The community The people here are extraordinary. It’s such a gift to be surrounded by fellow entrepreneurs who are open, supportive, and genuinely invested in each other’s success. We bounce ideas around, learn from one another, and even build inside jokes. When you're growing a business, it can be isolating, but Dayhouse feels like a family.
The atmosphere It’s warm, inviting, and nothing like the stuffy coworking spaces I’ve seen elsewhere. It has a homey feel that sparks creativity, something I deeply value working in a creative industry. Plus, it’s in the heart of everything. On breaks, I love walking to grab a bite, run errands, or just window shop nearby.
The staff Jen and Jess are the heart of Dayhouse. They’ve cultivated an environment that’s welcoming, inspiring, and truly one of a kind. Without them, Dayhouse wouldn’t be what it is.
If you're looking for a coworking space that values community, creativity, and connection, this is your place. I can't...
Read moreI started looking for a co-working space after working from home for a while, and I found Dayhouse on the strength of its positive reviews.
I came here looking for a place where I could focus on my work, and I found so much more. I found a welcoming staff who have thoughtfully arranged the space into a place where I want to work and where I can be productive. There are a variety of standing and regular desks to work from, phone booths and meeting rooms for meetings, and quiet areas when more focus is needed. Each area has been thoughtfully stocked with lamps, outlets, and power strips so I have everything I need.
I have also really enjoyed the chance to connect with others in the community through member breakfasts, group lunches, and happy hours. Dayhouse really goes above and beyond merely providing a place to work, and I would highly recommend...
Read moreYeesh, this review is long overdue! I've been coming to the Dayhouse to work for several years, and this is the crème de la crème of co-working offices. It's a wonderfully warm environment both in the physical space and people working here. Good snacks included for when you need to keep plowing through and plenty of options for lunch out in Highland Park when you can take it easier. If your body gets tired of sitting at a desk, you can try a standing desk or take a rest in the "Napping Nook" where you can lie down for a bit. It's a great place to get some serious work done, and there are also lovely areas for when you need a break, and meeting/phone rooms. Jess & Jen are so kind and helpful, and take great pains to make this a great community with programs, activities, and charitable work....
