John’s music is the best and most friendly and helpful music store in the entire low country of South Carolina and southeast Georgia! I live over an hour away from the shop but it is well worth the drive for me! I am a regional professional musician that plays live shows all around the area daily. On some occasions I have had technical difficulties at my shows and needed help with my gear, the owner of the store Scott Evans has personally come to my show at a moments notice and helped me solve my problems with my gear! It doesn’t get better or more helpful than that! They have a full and extensive line of musical instruments and are certified dealers of all the big name brands! I have personally purchased four Martin acoustic guitars from them and will soon be purchasing my fifth as well! They beat all prices of any other music store or online retailer. Walked in to this store to purchase a parlor guitar. The worker behind the counter was very nice and inviting. My son and I looked around for about 10 minutes. The first guitar we wanted to try and was going to purchase bc of reviews, barley tapped another guitar while removing it from the bottom shelf hanger. All of a sudden a heavyset sweaty worker came and said very rudely hey guys don't be banging the guitars together. I said it was an accident and that we were wanting to purchase the guitar. This was a very slight tap. The heavyset guy that said he owns the place said he don't care if we purchase it or not. So we left. This guy doesn't want to sell guitars. He just wants to act cool because he owns a guitar store. Not impressed by his selection. It is small and the supposed owner is rude and has no business being in business. Find another store. Don't waste your money. Like he said. He don't care. Why should we. We are driving to guitar...

John and Scott are top notch music stores owners and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of music equipment and the care/maintenance of such. They listed one of my "Major Bucket List" guitars, another Alvarez Yairi, last week and I drove, 2.5 HOURS, to Hilton Head for purchase. The guitar was as described and in better condition than I could have ever expected.
