Very expensive! There are cute stores, but for the prices, not worth it and not unique... Went to Currents...especially for Brighton Charms. According to the proprietor, "We took them out. Nobody bought them." When asked if there were other stores carrying Brighton charms in the area, she said, "No, we own the other one and we took out the charms." This came off as snotty to me, since I DID want Brighton charms. What am I, a nobody? AND, there are other stores that carry Brighton charms in the area...she just didn't want to be bothered. I like other Brighton products, but I walked out. I don't recommend Currents to anyone...unless you like a nasty attitude... The Village does have a farmer's market...that supposedly opens at 9am...half were late opening and a few by 10...some after 10...and one no show! So, it is small...only about 12 vendors IF they are there and open! I'm from Michigan. If a farmer's market opened at 9am...you had to arrive BEFORE 9am...to get the best stuff! There were rules about being set up a half hour before. What is the deal? Yeah, I know it is the Lowcountry, but these are small businesses. (The craft show in Beaufort was the same. Opened at 10am. Not fully functional until after 11am!!!). So, overall...not impressed. Stores overpriced and attitude (and some late opening...) Farmer's market is small and lazy about opening. Some of the vendors were good...especially the Shea butter lady. But they cannot survive in...

Perfectly maintained, nicely landscaped and the small businesses are unique. You could easily spend the afternoon wandering around, have a craft beer, a wine or your choice of specialty coffees. Today they had Santa with story time, hot chocolate, candy canes and popcorn that was hosted by Island Child and supported by the rest of the shopping area with a scavenger hunt....

My boyfriend asked him why he was taking pictures and he wouldn't talk to him. That was a little overboard...
