Was sold a counterfeit Hermes wallet . For $580 the snap fell off as soon as I open the box it was glued on . Along with four or five other items for approximate $2500. The one item had a lot of marks inside which the person I was going to give it to did not want it so the very next morning I went back and the manager owner who is a very miserable person by the way yelled and said no weāre not taking anything back from you. So I said OK Iāll deal with that. But I called the Hermes To get a repair and it was closed down for Covid for several years. Finally, they opened and a few months later, I took the wallet with me, but they said that the company that fixes their product is still closed with no announcement of reopening anytime soon. Well, it was almost 2 more years so I put the item away and finally had an opportunity to get it fixed to be confronted by their manager told me this was a counterfeit item . . Didnāt even have a $15 value ! Very embarrassing in a store for people that overheard that . I had a trip planned as soon as I got back so when I got back from the trip, I took it into designer consigner, and the owner Was extremely rude telling me I probably counterfeited it myself. So I said so, I would counterfeit this somehow and add a broken button that was glued on Just like the one you gave me a $60 credit for when it fell off in one day. Of course she didnāt answer that she was very rude and grumpy very unprofessional for business owner. She says Iāll send it away and get it rechecked. I said fine about a month later I got a call from her manager, indicating it was a counterfeit and what can we do to resolve this? I simply said I would just like a check sent to me because I donāt wanna shop there after the way I was treated and insulted by your owner . My daughter was sitting there and couldnāt believe what happened that happened to her. Also, she took in a pair of shoes that were brand new that never fit. They sold them for $500 apparently while she was traveling with her new husband. Business and pleasure. They said she didnāt come in fast enough to collect the money because it hit 30 days. They would not give her a dime for her shoes. Any legitimate company wouldāve mailed a check Or just paid the money, they owed her when they walked in. Now Iām getting calls from quite a few people that had similar experience with the miserable owner where they were deceived. She threatened me, never come in her store And that I was rude to her manager, which was a complete lie. My wife is Hard of hearing she was with me we were very professional because we were multi business owners ourselves. We just happen to be driving by. This is the second time Iāve been in your store and I never got the refund. You guys indicated you were going to take care of. The owner specifically told me not to give you anything. . Well, I had a lot of calls. People are missing items that they claim they never received for up to $1500. And so on and so forth. Itās against the law to sell counterfeit items that youāre representing as legitimate. Any normal business owner wouldāve rectified this within 10 minutes but not her. This is been going on for four months no return calls and the owner calls me and very belligerent on the phone and told me to get a lawyer. . . Like I said, this lady is not professional. Sheās very rude and many people have called and told me about their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis storeās customer service leaves much to be desired. First, my husband and I went in Saturday with some clothes and purses, not realizing they only consign during the week. Iām not sure if it was that or the fact we were wearing masks (we were the only ones wearing masks in the store), but the staff tailed us suspiciously everywhere we went as if concerned weād steal something. I considered leaving at such disrespect, but we stayed and shopped. Clothes on both menās and womenās sides were ok. A lot was dated and older in demographic than what we were looking for. We bought my husband some jeans and a button down shirt, me a dress that I discovered only after I got it home was ripped and stained on the inside, but it was significantly less money than new so I didnāt try to return or make a fuss. Today I went to consign my clothes as I scheduled on Saturday, and again associates were quite rude. I was told items Iād worn 1-2 times and kept in my closet since were ātoo wornā or ātoo oldā. Again I was wearing a mask and no one else was, and honestly feel they didnāt want to do business with me because of it. Items I saw in store were in no better (and the dress I bought, worse) condition than what I brought. The kicker for me was that they charge money to āhouseā your items whether they sell or not, and take no liability if items are ālostā or stolen. I took the few items they were going to take and left. I wonāt do business...

I went back to the store and was told by the owner, Michele, that anything with a red line on the tag was damaged. They don't tell you this when you shop there. I asked why they even put clothes in this condition out on the racks and she said, "In case you want to go home and sew them." WTF.
2nd: Prior to the bag sale today emails went out saying: "Hockessin shoppers-when you arrive, please park in the back parking lot near the office building." What retail establishment tells their customers to park far away from the front door?
3rd: Today was the bag sale. My friends and I showed up at 7am, store opened at 10am. It was 40 degrees and raining the whole time. At 9:30 we noticed 3 women in the store shopping already. When we asked about it, we were told by the owner, Michele, that it was her store and because we said that we didn't think it was cool to let some people in while others were waiting in line for hours, WE COULD NOT COME INTO THE STORE. After waiting 3 hours in the rain, I was not allowed in the store!!! This establishment sucks at customer service.
Well, you know what they say... 3 strikes...
