Sadly, my pharmacy closed abruptly and we were forced to pick a new one. This pharmacy, although a half hour away, is the closest to where we live. It has been an awful experience. Getting our medications transferred has been difficult and taken several days. Yesterday, I called to get my husband's prescriptions refilled - 2 they had on record, and 1 they had not yet filled. So I called them around 9 am, and got a return call around 9:30 am. I clarified the medication with the pharmacist, and he told me it would be ready around 3:30 pm. I went there at 6:15 pm to pick it up, and it was not ready. Staff was less than helpful, saying they are so busy and that was the reason - 3 hours late for a 30 day refill of a daily medication!! They I could wait and it should be ready in a half an hour?? Really?? It takes a half hour to refill a medication that you already have in your records? What am I supposed to do in that half hour - shop?? Is this a way of forcing me to stay in your store and buy things I don't need? I am going to find another pharmacy elsewhere. I cant image an already overworked staff having the time to listen to a message and call back, which takes twice as long. Read moreThe customer service here is abysmal. They won't talk to you directly, and when you have hearing problems and they only mutter, it's hard to communicate with them. Do not try to get a prescription filled anytime after 7:30 - they close at 8, but not really. They literally closed the gate in my wife's face last night while she was trying to call me to figure out whether to send the prescription to a different location, while she was trying to call me as I left the hospital. No professionalism at all, lousy service. This isn't an isolated issue. I needed 5 days of pills while waiting for some to be mailed, because insurance, and they charged me 10.00 more than I pay for my yearly supply. If my insurance would allow me to go to Walgreens, this place would never see another...
