I rarely leave reviews, but this was a pretty bad experience. We went for dinner around 7 on a Friday night. The place was mostly empty, which was odd for a restaurant in the area. When we first walked in the door, the girl at the front was nice and said, "Just sit wherever you want, and I'll bring some menus". She never came back, and it took a long time just sitting until our waiter came over. He was really nice but clearly the only person who was actually working the tables there so he was very busy. He brought some menus and took our orders. My daughter's food came out nearly instantly with no silverware and my ramen soon afterwards but my wife's and my mom's pho did not get brought over for nearly 20 minutes. By the time their food was brought over, my food was completely cold, and my daughter had finished eating. I had ordered some 'extras' in my ramen and those were included, but I realized my chicken ramen didn't have any of the carmelized chicken that was supposed to be in it according to the menu. The seasoned egg in the ramen wasn't prepared either. It was just a plain hardboiled egg, no color whatsoever. The waiter never returned until we flagged him down because we had been done eating for over 20 minutes and wanted to leave. None of us ate more than half of our food and we had no interest in taking home the leftovers. When he came back with our cards and the check I did mention that the ramen was missing the chicken and he took it off the bill without me asking. I expected to pay so that was nice of him at least. Overall the waiter was nice, the food was mediocre, and the service was horrendous. Again, not the waiters fault, it seems like the place is very poorly run, understaffed, and without much concern for the quality of their food. We won't...
Read moreDo not go here. Walked in at 715pm on a calm Friday night, 3 tables had customers. Walked out at 858pm. Had to wipe the puddle of soy sauce off the table with my one napkin when we seated ourselves. Appetizer came before our drinks did, I had to remind the waitress about our drinks and ask for plates and chopsticks. Non-alcoholic drinks mind you. Gyoza was pretty good. Took forever to get our ramen bowls, no drink refill at all in the 45 min wait. The restaurant was now practically empty. Got the ramen bowls... blah. Could've made better ramen at home with Campbell's soup. My fiance even got the most expensive bowl, and it was still not good. She spent a year living in Japan, she knows sushi and ramen. It was just void of flavor, not what ramen should be. I was disappointed. Hoping to get our spirits up, since we still hadn't been asked about refills on our drinks, ordered 2 deserts. Teyaki is a Japanese desert my fiance has not been able to find locally. You get 2 with the order, asked for 1 bean curd and one Nutella. Both were bean curd, and it was gross, not creamy like bean curd should be, more like mashed red beans with some sugar, gross. Again, we had to remind the waitress about our second desert which was coconut ice cream on a bubble waffle. Ice-cream was good, bubble waffle was bisquik pancake mix. This place was a complete disaster. From the moment we walked in it seemed nobody knew what was going on, and disorganized. ...
Read more3.5 stars, technically. Took family for dinner 1/23/22. Decor and setting is very nice. Plenty of parking and inside space to stretch the legs and not feel like you're too close to other folks. We looked at the "fusion" menu and thought it was nice so we ordered. I'm Vietnamese and so I trust and take pride in my taste buds. With that said, the food we ordered, springs rolls, meatball pho (no veggies) chicken wings, traditional hot and sour soup with salmon and rice noodles with grilled pork. We also added shrimp fried rice. Honestly, the food wasn't bad. It was missing traditional items that usually comes with the food items. For example, homemade fish sauce -- a staple of any Vietnamese restaurant. Everyone's sauce is different, and for me, it's essential. Prices are ok, you can find better value and food experience down the street in Worcester. However, for an Asian food fix, it's good. I shared the sweet and soup with seafood(salmon/shrimp). The broth and veggie were good, but the okra was undercooked. What's cool is that you can bring drinks that they make home and food came relatively quick. I think my rating would have been higher if I didn't have to pay for side of white rice that should have been part of the dish I ordered. I'll give it another try in the future. Hope this was...
