Iâm a regular here, the staff is so sweet and friendly and youâll always have an interesting conversation with the baristas/owners. Totally worth the wait if thereâs a long line, coffee is bold & strong, they are very transparent about where they source their beans and the farm that they work with. They make sure that their farmers make fair market prices unlike other big business coffee spots! The owners are from Nicaragua and support the Direct Trade Coffee Initiative. I literally cannot hype this place up enough!! If coffee isnât your thing theyâve got other refreshing options too. Ohhh and if you sign up for texts you can get a voucher and they have a perk where after you fill out a card by going there for consistent morning fuel, you get a free coffee of your choosing. My go to order is an iced hazelnut sun latte with oat milk or rebel dark roast black. The ice they use is cool to in the way that itâs hollow and bc of this it doesnât seem to water down my coffee. Itâs really refreshing to have a coffee spot in town that truly cares about their employees and the people that grow, harvest and roast their coffee because that is hard work and oftentimes that work goes unnoticed due to this society where we donât see the process. If you havenât tried this spot yet,...
Read moreWe stopped into Brilla Coffee because I saw online that they had gluten free options. When we were in the area we made sure to go for lunch. I was surprised that they had so many gluten free options, so it took me a while to pick what to get. I ended up getting the Pesto BLT on gluten free bread, and I got a Blueberry Smoothie and a Gluten Free chocolate chip scone. My husband got a AçaĂ bowl and the horchata latte. My sandwich was delicious and the gluten free bread held up well without falling apart, it also came with tasty potato chips that I dipped into the pesto mayo. The gluten free scone was good but a little bland. I think it would have been better with some butter or jam spread on it. My smoothie was just ok, I should have asked for more fruit mixed in but I couldnât think of what to get so I just said the first thing that came to mind. The horchata latte was delicious. I didnât get a bite of the açaĂ bowl because my husband ate the whole thing. He really liked it and said it was refreshing on the hot summer day we were there. I loved the decor and thought that the customer service was very friendly and helpful. The biggest downside for me was being stared at by some guy as I was walking to...
