Let me just say, it bothers me to leave a negative review, HOWEVER, the impression I received after I complained about the lousy two and a half hour job of poor quality........let me explain. We went in, I wanted a pedicure and refill. My husband needed a pedicure. Great. I requested my girl Cherry, I'm familiar with her, she does professional work and is clean, quick and does not cut corners. She's booked for the next two or so clients. I get the older gentleman and he greets me nicely, starts on my feet, before you know it, I'm done and I'm walked towards the door. I reminded him I needed a refill. He started my nails , I showed him a design. Now, at this point he did not say, I can't do that, or, um, I'm not sure I can. Nothing, he took out his phone, took a picture and started.... painting and painting and painting. Two nails needed a swirl, that's it. It took forever, looked like triangles and mismatched so I asked at that point, just paint all the same color. He visibly became upset and I apologized but....he starts painting over the design, then wipes everything off, leaving green imbedded in my nailbed, clumped about five layers of polish and four top coats. He walks me up to get my payment, I'm furious, I try to complain quietly to the women at the front desk has to not cause a scene, I'm trying to explain to them that I'm not comfortable paying for a manicure that I did not request and I did not meet the requirements. Requirements. Turned around and told me that I should not have taken him because he does not know how to make designs. They still charged me full price for a manicure against my will. I asked to speak to the owner and the owner had left for the day. I don't understand why they have him employed there. If he cannot do nail designs, why did he accept me as a...
Read moreCame in to get a full pink and white acrylic / gel set and to have my old nails removed when I told the woman what I wanted she bombarded me with a million other options no matter how many times I kept telling her I just wanted the white and pink powder. She made me so overwhelmed I didn't want to be there anymore and I asked them to just take my nails off and paint them. The lady then asked me if I wanted gel or polish and when I replied polish she then started talking about how I wanted it because it was cheaper. Now keep in mind the woman who was talking to me the whole time is not the one doing my nails. After she made me feel overwhelmed bombarded and then cheap and poor I asked the woman who was doing my nails to just take my other nails off so that I could leave. When I went to pay the woman then started laughing about how I didn't get my nails painted. When I asked to speak with a manager she told me they were on vacation for 2 months I smell something and it's not the night air that woman was rude mean unpleasant unprofessional and I will never be coming back. My recommendation is go to a nail salon that is actually friendly...
Read moreLena does a fantastic job on nails but the customer service in the salon is very bad. This week I made an appointment 2 days ahead for a fill & a pedicure with Lena. I got there on time but had to wait 15 minutes because she was doing a pedicure on someone else. She did my gel fill which was really good but then left me sitting another 30 minutes waiting for my pedicure while she did a pedicure for someone who had just walked in without an appointment. How can this be? She just dumped me halfway through my appointment for someone who walked in off the street!!! They seem very greedy to cram in as many people at one time as they can and have no respect for regular customers who have taken the trouble to make an appointment so as not to have to sit around wasting their time. When I talked to the owner he was totally uninterested and more or less said "nothing wrong with that". They are losing regulars for walk-ins but don't care. There are plenty of other nail salons around so will probably move on to a different one even though I love the way...
