China 1 — Restaurant in Florida

Unfortunately I was Very Disappointed with my most recent attempt to order from them. I wanted delivery which they offer within 5 miles, (I live 3 miles away.) the lady told me there was a very long wait and asked if that was okay, which I was fine with. I could tell by her voice that she was aggravated by my response and was hoping that I said no. She then got another call and put me on hold, but she never got back to me and I was forced to call back again.(still not a big deal to me, I know how it is when you're slammed.) Upon answering, I explained that I was already on hold but somehow it was disconnected. I put in my order and when it came time to give her my address she told me that they did not deliver to that area. Which is not the truth because I have Ordered from them in the past, plus in order to verify I looked at their map that shows the delivery radius and my house was only about halfway from the farthest point they deliver. I tried explaining that to her in a nice way and she immediately caught an attitude with me and told me She is too busy to argue, and that if I have a problem I could call back in a half hour to discuss further. I was starting to tell her that I was a long-time customer and I really didn't appreciate... But I didn't get to finish my sentence before I could tell she hung up on me. Wow, I know it's not the worst thing ever done to somebody, but still Not a good way to treat people who choose to spend there money at your establishment when there is plenty of...

For years, I’ve been ordering the same thing at China 1 the garlic wings . Since takeout is expensive, I only order it because it’s usually extremely good and I treat myself. Ten wings, a pint of soup and spring rolls is $27. That’s not including a tip so for one person it’s an expensive take out dinner. I’m not sure if the place changed hands or if there’s a different cook every night that cooks different. But these wings were not the garlic wings to that I always get. They were smaller, which I guess sometimes happens on delivery, but the wings are usually big juicy wings in garlic sauce. Well, I got what I would call small wings with two teaspoons of Garlic sauce. It looks like the wings had a thin coat of the sauce. Usually the wings are juicy and sticky and coated with this sauce. But these didn’t even taste like the regular wings. They had that taste like smoked wings the texture of the meat like smoke wings have. I usually eat half of the order and save the rest for the next day. I put three on my plate and I didn’t even finish eating them they were so bad! It doesn’t matter Who is cooking everything should be the same day-to-day! If I ever decide to have the wings again, I will do a pick up order so I can look at them before I take them home. Very annoying and a waste of my money! Oh, and my little pack of crispy noodles for my soup we’re like half the size of...

Be careful when you order online because I accidentally ordered from New China 1, a restaurant close by that has obviously taken advantage this one’s popularity stealing the name, I don’t know how I ended up accidentally ordering from them but the food was awful and I just wanna run down right quick my take away on this take away LOL

Here’s what I love about China 1, the restaurant I’m reviewing right now:

Vegetables always have a fresh cut Mark unlike other restaurants that do prep and the prep sits there for days

The other restaurant called NEW China one uses cheaper beef that is almost always chewy, China one has steak that you can always bite through easily and has more flavor

Ordered NEW China 1 general Taos chicken and it was so chewy that we had to spit it out, swallowing it might have actually caused choking, China 1 has the best fried chicken that is so delicious and crunchy it is like candy, your mouth waters as you eat more and more it’s perfectly crunchy and tender, flavor perfect

Also most importantly we never ever get sick off of China 1 probably because they sell so much that they get two shipments a week and all their...
